  • How one can detect heteroskedasticity in their dataset? The simplest test is perhaps the Breusch-Pagan test that uses the concept of auxiliary regression to relate squared residuals to the initial independent variables. Today we will learn how to apply it in Excel and also discuss its advantages and limitations.

    Very nice video!!! How can we fix heteroskedasticity, when detected? I am trying to detect herding using CSSD and CSAD, but I have to test for heteroskedasticity. How can I do that and fix the problem (probably there is heteroskedasticity).

    If F and chi-square are 70%, doesn't it mean that heteroskedasticity is present?
