I have both. Sl 2 is fantastic for easy day and Boston 12 for workouts(tempo and long faster runs). Great shoes.

Im gonna order the SL2 simply because running in those will take me back to when I was running in the boston 6,7,8,and 9s. I used to work security and would be up in cupertino for work I remember running 20 milers through Cupertino CA, get back to the hotel and jump into the jacuzzi.

Adidas nailed it with that SL2 color way. My SL1 feel hard as concrete ( unless running up hill ) and I'd still consider that SL2. NB Rebel 4 ( v3 is amazing ) has a similar color way and keeps calling from a far...

The woman’s version may be slightly narrower but if that is not an issue for you. You should be okay. Other wise the shoes are identical
