GIFSEP Empowers Small holder farmers on Nature Based Solutions

GIFSEP as part of the African Activist for Climate Justice (AACJ) project, has taken proactive steps to empower smallholder farmers in Adamawa state on NBS. Farmers were trained in various climate-smart agricultural practices, including sack farming and composting. Sack farming promotes urban farming and reduces dependence on rain-fed agriculture, providing a viable alternative for food production in urban areas where pervious or infertile lands subsist.
