You can print anything for your classic. You just need to adjust the scale to 82% in your printer settings and use a paper cutter to cut paper to fit and punch with happy planner punch.
You should just reach out to the company and ask them if they will have the hourly in big. I have some parts of the classic - still putting it together watching your videos :) Enter me please

I have learned so much by binge watching your videos these past few days! I went to michaels to purchase the Big and immediately was intimidated by the size so went with the Classic. I print all full size inserts at 83% to get them as close to the classic size as possible. Love your videos, thanks so much for sharing your journey!

Nice to see another CFO in the planner space! I use my work planner for keeping track of the schedule, major deadlines, project lists and what my priorities are weekly and daily but the heavy lifting for the weeds of projects and dependencies from my team is done in Proofhub and Smartsheet. I also use the Things app (aligned with GTD). Planners let me see the forest as I can easily get lost in the trees! I’ve only recently resumed manual planning and creative journaling (I write and photograph) and it’s made such a difference. I have four planner sets but all distinctive in the use and purpose (one for creative pursuits, another for goal planning, work and a hobonichi for journaling and tracking of daily goal progress). I don’t often relate to other women in the planning community job wise so it’s exciting when I find someone whose work needs may be more similar.

I have multiple HP in both BIG and classic sizes for home, life, book and work etc. I like both it just depending on what you use them for an example for me is my work planner has to be a HP BIG. I recently ordered the 2021 Budget HP Classic from the new HP release line ( of course its still in route) now that you have a budget planner in the classic size I can incorporate both to fit my needs. I have been binge watching your videos for a few weeks and just purchased my first planner. I created a budget planner inspired by your planner testing to see if it would work for me before I delved into planning. I must say that I love it and it really helped my get rid of part of the stress of paying bills. It worked so well that I decided to delve get a full planner and have written out the ways I will put it to use. Your videos have helped me figure ways to organize my life and build routines. Hi, I just started following you a couple of weeks ago. I ran into the same problem you are having but with a different layout. I reached out to HP and asked them if I had just missed it or what was the status. Here is part of their reply that might help you: "Due to Covid-19 there may be fewer options this season because of shipping and production delays. We do expect more products to be released before the end of 2020. Do keep in mind that traditionally, our Winter release has included our Undated Happy Planner collection." I'm going in a different direction because I needed to set up for next year and know that what I did will work. Hope this helps. I love your videos so far. Thank you for the help.

Hi Alaina! I know that probably you may not get a lot of guys on here but I have to say that you are the reason I started managing my time better. I also am a little confused by why HP has not released an hourly insert. I found an hourly on amazon but it was for 2020. I got used to the hourly so I'm praying they get it in lol. This is exactly the video I needed! I feel so much better about ordering the Big. I just ordered my first HP planner, with the new release, after discovering your channel. My biggest dilemma was my handwriting size. Even with practicing to write smaller, I feared I needed more room to fit everything. I ordered your budget planner in Big; I can’t wait to get started using it and add it into my HP Big.
If you bring your planner with you everywhere I would use the classic. I have a yellow cover from MAMBI that I slid my classic planner in for next year. It looks like you’re set up the same as your bigger planner and I have full confidence that as long as you can continue to track and have space for your writing, you’ll feel at home with the classic. Maybe even if there’s some maneuvering you have to, you might find a solution that makes you even happier than what you had before.
Yes I just bought you big budget organization. I am liking how the hourly kept me better with my time. I was really hoping that the happy planner would have a layout. If they don't get a hourly I will probably go with the classic style that is horizontal with just the lines. I am also looking at other layouts for other organization with my classes for school. The hourly help me with the house, kids and classes with college for accounting.

Just starting the video. I started with a big bc it was a gift. Got the classic bc it’s easier to carry but I realized it’s harder at least in my area to get certain inserts in the big and I usually see more classic inserts on anything when I’m out.

I currently have a Classic Faith Happy Planner (it is my first HP purchase that I discovered the layout doesn’t work well for me) so I was looking forward to purchasing a HP Big hourly because of your planning and budget videos. I’ve been waiting to buy your budget planner, but I’ve been stalling only because I don’t know which size I want to purchase with the HP...now I’m back in the research stage of HP, but this video helped put some things into perspective for me.

Hi Alina. I am having the exact same dilemma. I am new to happy planner and got a big. I didn’t know about the different layouts when I bought my planner. It was just so pretty. 😂 Then I found some hourly inserts but didn’t have room for home things. And now I feel like the big is too big for me to carry around. I have been considering trying a classic size. Thanks for experimenting for me. I will be following to see how you like it that is if I don’t go and get a classic first! I love love love that you have moved to the classic, possibly😉. It’s what I have and want to try to follow your planning. I am not near the analytical type you are, it has been a hard habit to form. But I am willing to keep trying. I like fun... if it’s not fun it’s hard for me to be consistent, so I am trying to make budgeting fun by following your planning. Ok now I’m rambling. But that’s because I am so excited about the Classic!
🤩 Enter Me! 🤩 It’s like you’ve read my mind on a topic (or saw my Amazon/Google searches) 😁. I’ve been going back and forth now on the size since I’ve decided to go with Happy Planner vs. EC based on ability to customize. And really, who am I kidding, probably will end up getting both to get a feel for which I like. Going through all the different accessories, papers, inserts, covers, and stickers... like a kid in a candy store! Great to hear your pros and cons on each.
I’ve heard that the BIG Hourly is available at Walmart. And that they’ll have another launch in Oct/Nov and it should have that layout. Also Rhoro Design has great printable in HP layouts. And she has BIG hourly. And it’s so easy just print and punch. I use a classic for my social media planner and love it for that. But I prefer BIG over all. It’s my favorite size. I got a skinny classic happy notes and love that for my purse.

Having the same dilemma with the happy planner big not coming in the hourly format. I decided to purchase the big planner anyway because I didn’t want to give up the extra writing space, but I still haven’t figured out how to plan my day in a way that I’m comfortable with. I’m glad I’m not the only person feeling so strongly about this change. Love your videos, and appreciate all of your lessons on budget and finance ❤️
Enter Me!! I love the happy planner BIG! I also have a regular planner as my catchall for school. Your channel has opened my eyes to not having two separate books. I'm hoping to figure out making a printable in order to keep the BIG size. I do love the classic size regarding portability. I've been considering it and I'm happy that you are happy with it. I was using an A5 for about a decade. This is my second or so year using the Happy Planner. I'm torn. I hope that I win the giveaway so that I can start to franken plan and not kill my pockets. I am so excited. I already ordered your budget planner and I just could not wait to get it in the mail and so I broke down and ordered your downloaded monthly sheet, which I have now until the rest of the pages arrive. Alaina, I don't know if you know that if go into Plumpaper.com, they customize the calendars for you. You do not have to give up your big HP, I have already ordered the hourly set up and you just customize what you want and can order all kinds of other nice trackers. I chose not to have my pages hole punched and then I just do the HP holes myself. I ordered 18 month calendar beginning for January 1. But you can do each calendar different and customize the layouts how you want them. I have used them for several years and I love that I can play around with the set up and add and subtract or personalize the calendars as I like. You should check them out. Kelly
For 2021, I will be switching from an EC hourly to a Classic Happy Planner (my first one!). I prefer the hourly for the same reasons you outlined, but I think I can make it work. One big plus is having the ability to remove pages to work on, but also being able to "franken plan" and make it my own. Thanks for sharing, I love all your videos!
Hi Aliana ☺️ I just set up my planner the way you have yours in the happy planner big. I also love the classic size for portability BUT decided to make that more of my “notebook” for various parts of my life. I suggest you make inserts with the time blocking option so that WE can keep using the Happy Planner Big. It is extremely easier to update with full pages of info!!!!!!! With so many of us still working from home with new school schedules I need the ability to add quickly!!!! Thank you so much 🥰

Thanks for the walk thru the sizes. I recently picked up the classic, tried to find the big size in my local store however on classic available. I was beginning to regret the smaller size however you pointed out some great benefits for the classic size too. I’ll be sticking with this size! Thanks again! Love your videos. Now I may wait and just continue to use my classic planner in conjunction with the Big size budget planner for a little longer. I am currently a Happy Planner Big kind of girl and have moved over to an hourly planner after watching your video where you were able to find an hourly HP online. I have always been that checklist person, but I love planning out my days by time. Also, I use worksheet inserts in my planner to keep me on track with my budget. Thank you for all that you do! I love your set ups and your videos I had this same dilemma coming from mini to classic. For 2019 a carried a mini fit in my pocket great, I had set it up where it had everything I needed in it. But, my dilemma in 2020 was I needed more room to write and appointments. So I switched to classic planned it just like my mini and add all my sections and everything and then pandemic so I have not really utilized it like I thought so I stopped carrying it. Not as much going on. Now the new realease and I don't know what to choose for 2021. Oh in July I also got a skinny classic. Because my classic I had to carry a whole other bag for it. I made my own cover out of placemats and customized it the way I wanted it. So now I am in that same dilemma. I also a big budget book and a business notebook. I am not as advance in budgeting as you so I was going to use your system but, I think I would have wasted pages. Your videos give me great ideas and let's me know what I can do. Thank you for being such inspiration. Also your voice is very calming and nice toned. Not nulling and boring. I also plan to join your Tom academy as soon as my money is right. Thank you again.

If you have things to print & add to the Classic, you can go from 8.5" x 11" and change your printer setting to 84% then print it. Someone commented on another channel that this works. Hope it helps, Alaina!

I currently have a Classic Faith Happy Planner (it is my first HP purchase that I discovered the layout doesn’t work well for me) so I was looking forward to purchasing a HP Big hourly because of your planning and budget videos. Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I’m glad you brought up the budget planner because you answered my question. I’ve been waiting to buy your budget planner, but I’ve been stalling only because I don’t know which size I want to purchase with the HP...now I’m back in the research stage of HP, but this video helped put some things into perspective for me.

Hi Alina. I am having the exact same dilemma. I am new to happy planner and got a big. I didn’t know about the different layouts when I bought my planner. It was just so pretty. 😂
Then I found some hourly inserts but didn’t have room for home things. And now I feel like the big is too big for me to carry around. I have been considering trying a classic size. I love love love that you have moved to the classic, possibly😉. It’s what I have and want to try to follow your planning. I am not near the analytical type you are, it has been a hard habit to form. But I am willing to keep trying. I like fun... if it’s not fun it’s hard for me to be consistent, so I am trying to make budgeting fun by following your planning.

It’s like you’ve read my mind on a topic (or saw my Amazon/Google searches) 😁. I’ve been going back and forth now on the size since I’ve decided to go with Happy Planner vs. EC based on ability to customize. And really, who am I kidding, probably will end up getting both to get a feel for which I like. Going through all the different accessories, papers, inserts, covers, and stickers... like a kid in a candy store! Great to hear your pros and cons on each.
I’ve heard that the BIG Hourly is available at Walmart. And that they’ll have another launch in Oct/Nov and it should have that layout. Also Rhoro Design has great printable in HP layouts. And she has BIG hourly. And it’s so easy just print and punch.
I use a classic for my social media planner and love it for that. But I prefer BIG over all. It’s my favorite size. I got a skinny classic happy notes and love that for my purse.

Loved the video. I'm having the same issue. Passion Planner has an undated hourly layout download. You can sample it to determine if it's suitable.

Having the same dilemma with the happy planner big not coming in the hourly format. I decided to purchase the big planner anyway because I didn’t want to give up the extra writing space, but I still haven’t figured out how to plan my day in a way that I’m comfortable with. I’m glad I’m not the only person feeling so strongly about this change.

I love the happy planner BIG! I also have a regular planner as my catchall for school. Your channel has opened my eyes to not having two separate books. I'm hoping to figure out making a printable in order to keep the BIG size.
I do love the classic size regarding portability. I've been considering it and I'm happy that you are happy with it. I was using an A5 for about a decade. This is my second or so year using the Happy Planner. I'm torn. I hope that I win the giveaway so that I can start to franken plan and not kill my pockets.

I am so excited. I already ordered your budget planner and I just could not wait to get it in the mail and so I broke down and ordered your downloaded monthly sheet, which I have now until the rest of the pages arrive. Alaina, I don't know if you know that if go into Plumpaper.com, they customize the calendars for you. You do not have to give up your big HP, I have already ordered the hourly set up and you just customize what you want and can order all kinds of other nice trackers. I chose not to have my pages hole punched and then I just do the HP holes myself. I ordered 18 month calendar beginning for January 1. But you can do each calendar different and customize the layouts how you want them. I have used them for several years and I love that I can play around with the set up and add and subtract or personalize the calendars as I like. You should check them out. Kelly
For 2021, I will be switching from an EC hourly to a Classic Happy Planner (my first one!). I prefer the hourly for the same reasons you outlined, but I think I can make it work. One big plus is having the ability to remove pages to work on, but also being able to "franken plan" and make it my own. Thanks for sharing, I love all your videos!
Hi Aliana ☺️ I just set up my planner the way you have yours in the happy planner big. I also love the classic size for portability BUT decided to make that more of my “notebook” for various parts of my life. I suggest you make inserts with the time blocking option so that WE can keep using the Happy Planner Big. It is extremely easier to update with full pages of info!!!!!!! With so many of us still working from home with new school schedules I need the ability to add quickly!!!! Thank you so much 🥰

Thanks for the walk thru the sizes. I recently picked up the classic, tried to find the big size in my local store however on classic available. I am currently a Happy Planner Big kind of girl and have moved over to an hourly planner after watching your video where you were able to find an hourly HP online. I have always been that checklist person, but I love planning out my days by time. Also, I use worksheet inserts in my planner to keep me on track with my budget. Thank you for all that you do! I had this same dilemma coming from mini to classic. For 2019 a carried a mini fit in my pocket great, I had set it up where it had everything I needed in it. But, my dilemma in 2020 was I needed more room to write and appointments. So I switched to classic planned it just like my mini and add all my sections and everything and then pandemic so I have not really utilized it like I thought so I stopped carrying it. Not as much going on. Now the new realease and I don't know what to choose for 2021. Oh in July I also got a skinny classic. Because my classic I had to carry a whole other bag for it. I made my own cover out of placemats and customized it the way I wanted it. So now I am in that same dilemma. I also a big budget book and a business notebook. I am not as advance in budgeting as you so I was going to use your system but, I think I would have wasted pages. Your videos give me great ideas and let's me know what I can do. Thank you for being such inspiration. Also your voice is very calming and nice toned. Not nulling and boring. I also plan to join your Tom academy as soon as my money is right. Thank you again.

If you have things to print & add to the Classic, you can go from 8.5" x 11" and change your printer setting to 84% then print it. Someone commented on another channel that this works. Hope it helps, Alaina!
