Great work! The only suggestion for now is to have a command to transform a brand new virgin batocera into a RGS image. Without rom packs. Then the user can add your packs later.
Funnily enough that is exactly what we're working on. I've done it myself as a test and it works great. The other work that needs doing is to take all the systems that are included in the base image and create separate ROMpacks for each one and there's a lot! 😁 If you're not there, join our Discord Server where this and everything else is discussed.
How’s the progress on this I’d like to be able to add this to my batocera build without having to reinstall, I’ve joined the discord and can’t seem to find any mention of it.
I cannot get it to expand properly on boot, no matter how many times I reburn the image it refuses to expand (imaging to a 12TB hard drive). Attempting to fix it with gparted also doesn't resolve the issue as gparted ends up wiping the share parition completely during the "fix" due to issues with the share partition.
I had similar, so put the latest gParted on a USB stick, booted and then went to expand the partition, however it said it needed to run a scan/fix first, which it did and after that the partition was extended. If you still have issues, join our Discord and ask the question there. There are lots of people there willing to help 👍🏻

And then I do this procedure, right? Don't I need customization updates through the terminal twice? Only 1 time in version 39 to 40 as in the previous video? Did you understand? I really liked these old computer systems and consoles, I wanted to put Sony smc 777, Hitachi s1 and many more like yours on my batocera. So do I need to have version 39 RGS 500gb to be able to have all the customization? I'll try to find space here hahaha.🕹

Sorry, I have just found some files referring to sord m5 and the question is where should I copy the SORD M5 roms? Is it necessary to copy BIOS as well or you use the one from MAME? Thank you in advance!

I followed the instructions, my batocera is v40, installed via curl command as in video, restarted but not only can't find Sudachi emulator nowhere (not in applications, nor directories) but also Ryujinx isn't able to run games anymore. Sudachi isn't listed neither in emulators in nintendo switch system. So where do we find it and how can I let ryujinx run again?

Hi, there is a base image to download and flash to a drive, which gives you a large number of systems. There are then larger packs to download and add to your build as you wish. We're also looking to provide a 'Barbones' build with no ROMs, that you then add individual ROMpacks to.

If you download either our v39 or v40 Batocera builds, they have the customisations built in. I'd always recommend getting the latest build 👍🏻

Finally I found the way, made a new folder "sordm5" inside roms and put there the roms and is working.
