Cuts thru the water nicely.
Seeing how it parts waves leaves nothing to the imagination on why it’s a Cutter
Looks funny at speed with the bow waves going so high. They should have put the central bull nose on the bow too. I was a plank owner on 1306 Nunivak. It was a great cutter. Believe we commissioned it in 1986. Its now in mothballs. Sad.
Nice boat..little pricey but curious about the huge bow waves?? Is that from extra weighting? 🤔

The boat looks great, but sailing was most unrealistic. I don't know if ballast was required. If the model is meant to resemble the real thing then drive it accordingly.
The fullspeed drive is not scale
Cool but not $789 cool. This should be like $499.
Its really too bad they are priced so idiotic. It's basically toy grade plastic with a motor but you want almost a grand for it. I can see the battleships but this is nothing special. I'm sure my comment will be deleted ASAP but I'm just being honest.
The level of detail for the size in an RTR package is unbeatable. All the railings and bits on top are metal. Its really well done and will last a long time.
@PepperPete11: I got mine today. She got fiberglass hull and only superstructure is from plastic, what is acceptable, but is reinforced. Most of the details are from metal, like the mast, railings, antennaes etc, just few details are from plastic or resin. Yes she's pricey but consider to build her on your own, how much time would you put in it. If you got a lot of time then OK, but if not I'm glad that it's possible to buy completed RTR model which is running after adding some weight and batteries. Thanx Motion! 🙂
Hull is fiberglass. I have the Bancroft Arleigh Burke and Fletcher class destroyers and both hulls are fiberglass and very solid and beautifully made. You are not getting toy grade plastic.
The flag should fly from the mast, not the fantail.
