Bought one for my 4.8 06 Silverado 1500 crew cab 4x4. truck has no codes runs like a champ but 7k pound truck with 33s and the lil 4.8 felt sluggish this woke it up a good bit definitely happy with the power it has now also fixed my speedometer and fixed my shift times truck takes off from a dead stop great no longer sluggish!
Well, seeing how I used to have a Superchips on my old 02 4.7 Dodge Durango, (which made a world of difference on 93 octane), shifted better, ran better, etc. I'm excited to give Hypertech another another go around on my Hemi Magnum..(wanted to try something other than Superchips this time).....Which should be here middle of next week.... I say another try because I haven't had a Hypertech Product in years ever since my ol 92 Camaro, installing a piggy back style chip and even back then, man what a difference....!
You can have a stock vehicle and use this to modify your engine still. Thats the first step is select what octane you use. Like 87 will give to about 11-13 hp and 91 will give 15-20
I have the same programmer for my 1998 F250 4.6L and I have updated the programmer and when I adjust the programming the only options I have is do you have and automatic transmission and then it doesn't let me adjust the settings I'm quite frustrated with this already any advice?
no, sense there are no sensors that would give it that info it will not. It only affects things that are directly computer controlled, such as fuel, Transmission shifting, and limiters. There nothing to change or control electronically on those mechanical parts
I have a friend who bought one of this things but since he put it on hes truck the truck start stuttering every time he press the gas to pass another car. His truck is 03 dodge ram quadcab 1500 2wd 5.7 liter. He says he took it off and the truck was fine. Any ideas why it was doing that hypertech guys!?? Becuase if it cause a problem like that I'm not sure if I can get one.

Donnie Shepperson 255 mph limit for my c6 z06, not sure if it's the same for other cars, you can set it anywhere between 0-255. it gives you an option.

very easy to update and use, everything is online, fits lots of cars, suv, trucks...worth the money.

Husband easily tuned his 2004 RX-8 with it. Also has a turbo and easily get 414 whp, and his high speed so far is 150 mph

Yes and no.. You can you use it on another vehicle only if the first vehicle ia returned back to stock tune first..

easy to install but it takes almost20 minutes. my 08 Cummins halls butt with it on level3.
I'd recommend a smarty tuner for your 08 Cummins way better tuning
