I bet half of the players who didn't beat a single level have once say "okay" before turning off the console, putting the cartdrige in its box and never touching it again.
The final level and boss are just garbage though. The level itself is boring because it is a completely flat path with random enemies. Then, when you get to the boss, it's a very long game of musical chairs that takes forever. If you lose even once in the first round, or if you lose three times (I think) in the last round, you end up in the beginning of that long hallway, and you have to go through that whole hallway and the long musical chairs thing from the start. And once you've finally beaten the game, your reward is these MS Paint sprites at 12:08. Putting aside the rock paper scissors fights and that final level, this is actually an enjoyable 2D platformer game, though it's a little too easy and short for my taste. By the way, all those enemies that the TAS just breezes past could've killed them in one it. Every single enemy in this game is a one hit death.
Why Doraemon's sprite and the hands look so bland? A megadrive can made some neat shading, like Mega Man from the Wily Wars for example. Even all the Sonic sprites, 1 to 3, have better color and shading than this. It looks like a cheap sprite made with ms-paint and they didn't put actual effort on it, nor even give some good deep shading.
Let’s throw a temper tantrum in the air and float
That electricity sound in the later stages is ear grating.
The "bossfights" in this game just consist of beating each one in Rock, Paper, Scissors. Then beat them all in musical chairs.
Yes, I said that in the author notes, I labelled the last section specifically as "Musical Chairs (And its Sequel)"

I wonder what happens if you lose the rock-paper-scissors "bossfights". Or the musical chairs game.
Easy, you lose a life and have to retry the whole level again.

Ok that just bullshit. Who thought that was a fun mechanic.
@@turf6863 : thanks for the explanation. That's... Not really a fun mechanic.
