DJI should do an update for waypoints without hyperlapse. I am sure this feature would be well received.

Same, I always wanted to have a DJI drone after I built a drone myself many years ago, but none ever felt complete, so I always resisted buying one. The DJI Mini 3 Pro will be my first one and hopefully last many years.

The dolly in/out feature in Portraits Mastershots (3:38) would be really nice to be able to do on its own. I would love to use that feature by itself. Also the feature in Landscape Mastershots called roll + fly forward (4:46) would be great for creative use. Please unlock those! Even if you made them into Quickshots that focused on a POI it would really add value to the Mini3Pro.
It is unlocked. To do roll & fly forward on Mavic 3, I just start further back.

It would be interesting to see an option to automatically remove the drone's shadow from the photo or video.

@@preslavfirov Nope. In a month or so. With ocusync 3 my guess is a couple of miles if nothing big is between you and the controller. But as you know only vlos is allowed.

Why are course lock and way points only available in hyperlapse? I use course lock all of the time on my Phantom 4 Pro. These modes are invaluable during video capture. Please fix this in a firmware update.

Hi, I am a long term DJI pilot, Inspire, Phantom, Mavic 2 pro etc and have been flying the Mini 2 for the last 2 years to take advantage of the A1 category for my business. I received my Mini 3 this afternoon and after charging everything I set off for its inaugural flight. All went well until I wanted to move the drone sideways and wow is it savage! Even in Cine mode you could easily fly it sideways into an obstacle. Ive set all the other parameters to my liking and slowed Cine down as much as I want but is there a way to decrease the kamikaze death wish of the drone when the stick is moved left or right? best wishes Nick
Ya i felt the same way too. I have flown my mini 2 for sometime until i bought this mini 3. The sideway is too aggressive!
It is very hard to do the micro movement

Hi! I have the smart controller and it has NO DOWNLOAD and NO SHARE Option. I don't know how to get the master shots and quick shots because they are ALSO NOT on the SD card. What should I do?
They're on the drone memory card, not the controller

Hold the start button for about two or three seconds and it will start blinking have open Bluetooth on your phone and it will ask if you want to connect to your drone and you will be able to download all your videos .. of also have the fry app up too

Why the is it so much lagging in activ track - POI?
My mini 3 pro controller does not show/have vision positioning nor optical sensing features. How do I get the feature and why would it not be available? I did all updates and logged out and back in my account. Still not available

Are Mastershots available while filming vertically?
Hello, there. DJI Mini 3 Pro does not support Mastershots when shooting vertically, but supports the following shooting modes:
1.Photo mode (including single shot, timer, 48MP, AEB continuous shooting and continuous shooting)
*The panorama function cannot be entered when the lens is in a vertical position; Note: One of the sub-modes of the panorama function is vertical panorama (3*1), which is shot with the lens in a horizontal position.
2. Video mode (normal and slow motion)
* The video recording process does not support switching the vertical mode.

Hi, there. Thank you for your inquiry. Currently, only Mavic Pro gimbal supports the Portrait mode. Other drone gimbals do not support the Portrait mode.

How on earth do I drag over a POI like a tree for example? I want to use spotlight mode and rotate around it, however it won't let me select anything other than a person or a car... I have watched endless videos and still no one shows the specific step to achieve this and it's so frustrating.

Why i dont see the range to change when tying intelligence mode
Do I have to have camera in photo mode to use active track, spotlight and poi options? I am not able to use these and was told I need to be in photo mode. HELP PLEASE!!!!!

I returned my DJI Mini 2 & sold my Mavic 3 to buy the Autel Nano+ & EVO 2 because of the DJI GeoFence Flight Restrictions, which Autel does NOT implement.
DJI should offer a disclaimer/waiver option, releasing them of any liability (just as Autel does)...
Not all Chinese companies are the same.
You can override most GeoFence restrictions and TBH, they're there for a reason. We drone owners already get enough bad press when someone decides to fly illegally and causes problems.
Can you got to the map and tell the drone to fly at a desire point automatically? That would be great

Hi, I don't have the share button at mastershots to share the footage. Any idea why? There is a download button on the bottom but it says its not available on this controller.
Does the mini 3 have waypoints? Can we set a path on the app before flight like the mavic 2? Or is it only with hyperlapse?

Will the mastershots, quickshots and active track come available with supporting D-Cinelike and also framerates above 30fps while shooting in 4K? It's really the only thing missing if you'd ask me!

Can you do this on the remote controller without the built in screen??
Pleeeease add useful fpv mode - not with tilt camera, but with auto-rotating camera.
Left stick - direction of drone - left-right - rotate drone to left and right, up-down - rotates camera up and down.
Right stick - up - fly in direction where camera looks. if camera looks down in 45 degrees - when you push "up" - drone flyes forward and down in same time. down - reverse this thing. left and right - like strafe-moving using A and D in counter strike.
Plus Ocusync 3.0 with 28ms latency and I will by this drone and will be 100% happy.
Plus ability to connect googles using wire to the remote controller.

@@Deniseich You just go into control settings and change from mode 2 to whichever type of controls you prefer. It has been this way with pretty much all of the drones they have ever made. It is Ocusync 3. No goggle support and wont be added. I hear rumors they will release and FPV mini later this year. Mini 3 does have an FPV mode but no googles.
Is portrait mode in active track something that we can expect in a future update? You realize that is why many stew specifically buying this drone?

A few weeks ago I bought myself a mini 3 pro. When it arrived, the obstacle avoidance sensors were constantly on red, regardless of mode or camera settings, and neither the imu or compass would calibrate successfully. It was sent back, engineers had a quick look at it and then DJI sent me a new one.
The new one fully arrived with identical issues, and also the front right motor was dead. One is bad luck, two says something much worse, so I’m after my money back and I’ll think again. A shame really as I’ve already got rid of my phantom 3.

What's the closest distance from the man/object to do active track or quick shots?

The following information may help you, please have a check: If a person is set as a tracking subject, the distance between the aircraft and the subject should be 4 to 20 m, and the altitude be 2 to 20 m. (Note: The recommended distance is 5 to 10 m and the recommended altitude is 2 to 10 m.)
If a vehicle/boat is set as a tracking subject, the distance between the aircraft and the subject should be 6 to 100 m, and the altitude be 6 to 100 m. (Note: The recommended distance is 20 to 50 m and the recommended altitude is 10 to 50 m.)
If the aircraft starts to follow the subject, but the distance between the aircraft and target is not in the range of abovementioned distance or altitude, the aircraft will automatically fly into the supporting range. If the aircraft flies in the range of recommended distance and altitude, you will have a better experience of tracking.

1. How to use Intelligent fly modes in area that is Unlocked ? Seems that is not working, keep saying that max altitude reached.
2. HOW TO STOP LIES ABOUT SHITTY SIGNAL? IN 350 METERS IN CITY THE SIGNAL IS DOWN....NANO+ IN SAME AREA HAVE 40% LEFT SIGNAL !!!!
Dude, this is way too fast and complicated for a beginner (me). And the music is annoying. "Just tap the screen and blah blah blah" is what it sounds like. It's hard to practice anything when the battery only has 30 minutes. I'm always in a rush. It would be nice to have a VERY SLOW version of the first 1 minute of this with no music.
