All they had to do was wrap it up with 'and so we're still in hiding, and I know I'll probably be moving for the rest of my immortal life. How would you feel if you could live forever, but never feel peace ever again?' BOOM, bam, did your job for you true story animated of whatever the heck your name is.
The math is so wrong. The mom is supposed to be 500 years old and to have fallen in love with the dad when she was adult-ish, so let's say at 18. She was then cursed to be barren and remained so for over 480 years. So she could have become fertile at 498 the earliest, which means Elizabeth should be no older than two years...
That was probably the worst ending I've ever seen. I feel like the writers probably thought they were being so smart and creative with their epic story.
