I had a kesar in June. Actually a box of Kesar. The resin or the spices near the skin and the cola sweetness reminded me of a syrupy Mountain Dew soft drink.
The 🐿 ate all of my kesar mangos this year... probably 100 pieces of fruit. Next year I might have to do do 🎯 practice... 😢. Although kesar are my favorite mangos I'm glad that i had my kent and my dad's Mallika mangos for back up.
Interesting tasting. I was under the impression that CeciLove was distinctly SE Asian in flavor, similar to SweetTart. Anyway, I'm glad I planted a tree. It's been getting rave reviews this year. Alex Salazar says it's a variety you can allow to ripen on the tree.
