More sound engineering advice for aspiring game devs out there. Sounds effects often end up feeling annoying when they include frequency ranges near human speech or animal sounds (which are the same type your phones prioritize for obvious reasons, creating that classic 'over the phone' sound quality). Reducing these frequency ranges will help to create a 'white noise' effect and make sounds feel a lot less grating over long periods of time.
Thematically Id say its because its a lightning weapon rather than a pure fire/fire starter weapon that makes it not a starter weapon (granted you could argue that doesnt matter sincs Wildfire turns EVERY weapon into a fire weapon)
Feel better soon! These days I'm working a lot and I'm too tuckered out to play video games even though it's my favorite, so it's awesome being able to watch you play your stuff! Keep it up, never seen a bad one from you!
This was great. It occurred to me that Power Generator was a great get. It helped balance your damage out between the first and second halves of the wave.
Yeah, that number can't be correct (burn did significantly more damage than that in the previous wave alone), and also I'm pretty sure the stat tracking isn't that accurate anyway. I've noticed that coupon doesn't actually increment correctly (buy it, buy an item that went down by 1 due to discount, check the coupon, it still says 0 material saved) but I haven't tested it to any real degree.
Maybe you address it later in the video, but since Power Generator is based on permanent speed I think it won't be impacted by the halfway through the wave speed down as that would be a temporary change. Am I wrong and that is a "permanent change" in Brotato terms?

Power generator scales off of permanent speed though?
Best part of the video
Reto:"...cran..."
Me: lol, cran
Reto: "Yes, I said cran, sue me"
Me: 😯 (does he read my thoughts)
😂
Broooootato! A welcome watch during my dinner as always. Thanks reto!
Great Run
The horde survival action roguelike itself
_but modded though!_
Without mods, generalist with ghost scepter and ghost axe, it’s really really fun.
I don't think burn did much in this run. Scared Sausage on the wave 15 shop was showing 381 damage dealt (19:54)
burn did a ton this run lol, you can just watch a little bit to see burn doing 381 _per second_
Against bosses the burn was great but I think that almost all common enemies were dead before the tick. Anyway, great video as always
Oh sure, just making it known the 381 can't possibly be worth trusting at all haha

Also, more importantly: On the wave 19 shop at 26:04, Scared Sausage had done... 381.
Pyromaniac, Pyromancer, Brotato, Brotahto 😋

It uses the word temporary speed for that cyborg mechanic.
Also, mathematically the flat gain is more than the percent loss anyways
Forgive me if I just missed it but is there a character that works with the pitchfork? That looks like it could be a fairly strong character.
tomorrow!
@@Retromation Awesome! Ill look forward to it. Thank you!
First
Play something else i beg of you 😢
Keep it up!
