I'm simply in love with this routine, dancer, and music. Everything was on time, perfect, and graceful never the less it was also a winner.

Stars is an amazing studio. They train their dancers really well, not just technically, but they train them to be professional dancers with amazing work ethic, creativity, and self confidence.
I loved everything about this video : the dancer, the choreography the song, the interpretation AND the dancing.
Like I said in the video where she shows her fave trick, this kid is a package of amazing-ness !

Something else that both these little girls have is a passion for dance...both of them love it and you can just see it pour from their hearts... truly amazing! Very different styles I agree but both so very talented!
i liked the coreography more than i normally do in her dances, i think there was more flow to it, it was more like a dance than a string of tricks. Well done Mia!! =]

I cannot wait to see how she matures in a few years. This dance would be even more incredible with the flexibility, strength, and preciseness of an older dancer. Love to see her keep working on this dance and see it again when she's older.
I absolutely love this dance. Mia dances so maturely for her age. This number was very complex and I think she did a great job conveying the emotions. Why must everyone try to compare her to other dancers? Why not appreciate the dancing she has to offer? Beautiful job Mia!

AMAZING. For a ten year old, that was simply amazing. :) Mia's technique and skill are much more refined and mature in this video than the last one I saw. not to mention she is a beatiful little girl. :) I really wish she'd be featured in Dance Moms : Miami. :(
even if there is a lot of legs lifts i love the choreo! its unique! shes amazing for her age and ppl should stop comparing her to the aldc girls cause they arent the best dancers ever! mia is talented & i love the choreo!

Mia is amazing :) not only can she perfectly dance this solo but also she is talented enough to pull off something like "I'm Happy" or "Pokerface". Personally I'm sick of people putting down her and the choreography in I'm Happy. The point of that dance was to entertain the audience and that is what she did. She can still dance though guys, just watch this video again. She's amazing.

Aside from the choreography, there is a lot more to dance studios- which I'm sure you know. Stars is incredible. They instill amazing work ethic in their dancers, help them to find themselves as artists and be expressive and creative, they teach them technique and diverse styles of dance, and build their self confidence. Mia can learn difference choreography anytime at dance conventions or workshops but the other things that Stars teach mean a lot more.

Impressive extensions, beautiful turns, great power in the kicks and jumps. I would just like to see more dancing and not so many tricks. However, that is just my opinion. I think every studio has their own style and this is a style that can be seen from Stars. She is a beautiful performer

she's so technical, and so strong. the choreography is great and she palsy the character well. just the angle of her head on certain things makes her look better than others would performing this piece.

I don't understand how you people can be so critical, she's 10 years old. Being a dancer myself, I know how hard it is to master technique and power like that. She's really good. And I'm sure most of you can't move like she can.

How about just commenting on her good work and remembering that she's 10 years old and if you are not a dancer like I am you would not understand how much more work it really is to do all that small stuff.
Every "Dancer" can do jumps and leaps but it takes a true dancer to perfect the small movements and to actually look AMAZING well doing it. Don't BS on this girls page. she is only 10 when she did this.
Take it from a true dancer (16 years of experience) she is absolutely outstanding.

Tiffany, thanks for the insight. I love Mia (and Maddie and Autumn and Sophia) but agree people have a right to not like the way someone dances. It is a free country and if someone has a view about dance even if it is different than mine, then at least they are involving themselves in the world of dance and it is all good. My problem is with people who never bother to watch dance, not the ones who do and just have a different perspective than mine. Keep sharing your insights!

That is the kind of stuff that the judges look for at competitions. Although they love emotion, they do like tricks and flexibility because it shows what the dancer is capable of and the judges are usually professionals that work and hire people in the professional dance world. What the judges like and look for is what is usually being looked for with professionals.
