Shoo girl! Aint nothing wrong with a little scratch, bumps and bruises!! Little paint and some TLC. We Things that are older just get smoother and better with AGE! lol.. im about 3 years older than your new girl there.... She's awesome girl! Take care of her and she'll do you just fine!! Glad yall found her. Now just keep having fun and share it with us all! Thanks Cheyenne and can't wait to see the fish at the bottom of the hull!!

I am just wrapping up my 85 254 mako project! I am so happy with how it turned out. I will be putting out some of the project and hatches builds on my channel! Im actually building a new hatch for my anchor locker next week, if yours is close to the same size im in ft.pierce and could make 2.

I have a 77 20’ mako that me and the wife fish/boat ride out of regularly ( or try to)… I added a T top to my boat, but definitely need to redo the transom all the way up and add a Jack plate like on your boat… great boats, hope you named yours .. ours is the “ Damn Indian” with a Seminole head after the name ( FSU fan here)…good luck fishing..

Congratulations on the boat! Those places you want to patch looked like bow rail mounting points and possibly port/starboard marker lights. I can tell you that I love having bow rails especially in rough seas when you need to forward to retrieve the anchor. As for the marker lights, they are required and I am not sure I saw them anywhere else. Sorry I can't help with names. I have had my current 24 footer for 18 years and it still has no name.

Cant beat those old boats for the ride, my old ‘74 was far less stable than my cousins ‘98 his just looked much better and cost a lot more lol. Good luck with your newused toy and keep the vids coming.

Congratulations enjoy your "new" boat, make sure you have all your Safty equipment needed on board, I just got a 24' cuddly cabin that is a project boat, can't wait I pick it up on Saturday, I already have 2 19' Cobia center consoles and a 15'bowrider and a bass boat, yea lol I'm boat poor living in Florida lol,

Cheyenne Lee , Congrats on the new Used Mako, The older ones are great because they are heavy and ride nice. Looks great and the 200 will ride nice . Looked like Yeehaw Jct and 714 on the ride. I live in Jensen Beach. Best of luck and catch em up.

Dude, twice you had the chance to introduce Yee Haw Junction while you were on Rt 60! I hope you bought some delicious orange blossom honey at the little roadside store just east of Lake Wales! You could have said Hello to my little town of Okeechobee before you got on the Martin County Grade, which is always beautiful!

I've got a Mako 224 1985 probably one of the best boats ever made they are great boats very tough they're all hand-laid glass you'll be happy with it now the Jack Plate I would probably replace that junk and at least put a extension on it for the outboard. My 224 has been closed to 80 miles offshore fantastic boats those holes that are on your the top of your boat on the rails the rail is missing off that boot and also your trim for the bumper all the way around the boat is missing you do need to replace that or you'll get leaks

Offshore in FL is like beach fishing in the Northeast lol. We are heading out 50 miles on Friday for some "midshore" tuna fishing.

Take a look at Behr paint named Helium at Home Depot for boat floor. It’s a white with tinge of bright blue. I just finished using the color on garage wall. Glows in fluorescent light.

I have avoided them because I've been told of the work involved to fix them. Boat names, "King Slayer" (few meanings there and you crush the kingfish), or "good times", or "slice of heaven".

Hi Cheyenne, you are correct, Florida is cow country. In the last 15 years I have been down 80 or 90% of the pipeline right of ways in Florida, north south east and west, she is my second favorite state. Name your new boat "Reel Hot"
