I was married for 25 years before I became a widow and I know that A LOT happens in marriage. What we humans see is the 'outside'. To think that even the powerful prophet Samuel (in the bible) made a mistake by looking on the 'outside' and God had to tell him, that He God looks at the heart means so much. All that glitters is not gold. As a woman, and having been in marriage, I KNOW that 'ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD'. "Ordinary" women have testified to God giving them miracles through praying in tongues without having to speak to the man. Pastor Anita needs prayers. They both do. A man will never listen to you no matter how beautiful or intelligent you are. It took God to talk to Abraham to listen to Sarah. It took Esther and all of Israel to fast and pray to get the favour of the king. It's nice to preach these things but we forget to apply them to ourselves. It's the most difficult thing to keep quiet in the face of abuse especially if it is physical. Physical abuse should not be tolerated. Outside of that, you need to put your attention on God and not on your husband. No matter how excellent and heavenly your ideas and revelations, your husband can never listen to you until God commands him, opens his eyes and turns his heart heart towards that thing. I'm a 50 year old man still haunted debilitated by the vicious cycle of abuse my mother endured for over 25 years. By all appearances I am a successful professional but inside I was dead for over 40 years. Everyday is a struggle especially as I refuse to use alcohol or drugs. I know nothing about Christ Embassy or Chris Oyakhilome and his ex-wife but was invited to a local meeting and went this evening. I came home and decided to do some research on this organisation and the people that lead it. I have just read another comment on another video about the divorce between Pastor Chris and Pastor Anita, going into details about the circumstances but offering no evidence to verify what was stated. However, if what was stated is true, then according to the bible, she has done nothing wrong to divorce him but has the freedom in Christ to do so. This reflects Torah teaching where adulterers were put to death, leaving the innocent party free, presumably to remarry. I came home with mixed feelings, and could not verify what I have read, other than the divorce has happened and the grounds on which it was granted, but I feel I do not want to get involved in this movement. I am grateful that this lady Anita has had the courage to speak out and not cover up anything being done in God's name (IF - AND ONLY IF - the detail I read was true, then that would make any wrongdoing, and the lies and deception that go along with it, BLASPHEMY, would it not? And it would be quite right to walk away and not collude with any such practices, IF this is the case. Look what happened to Ananias and Sapphira in the early church). that's the reason as to why the scripture says that women should remain silent in church and do not speak, women are a weaker vessel. if u realize, pastor Chris did not divorce her but she is the one who divorced him, and i believe she knows that Christians are not supposed to do so. then how can such a woman be a pastor, Paul said that it was the woman who was deceived not the man ....Women should not be given authority in the churches, that's usurpation of authority.1 Timothy 2:14-15 says, " And Adam was not deceived but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. I know nothing about Christ Embassy or Chris Oyakhilome and his ex-wife but was invited to a local meeting and went this evening. I came home and decided to do some research on this organisation and the people that lead it. I have just read another comment on another video about the divorce between Pastor Chris and Pastor Anita, going into details about the circumstances but offering no evidence to verify what was stated. However, if what was stated is true, then according to the bible, she has done nothing wrong to divorce him but has the freedom in Christ to do so. This reflects Torah teaching where adulterers were put to death, leaving the innocent party free, presumably to remarry. I came home with mixed feelings, and could not verify what I have read, other than the divorce has happened and the grounds on which it was granted, but I feel I do not want to get involved in this movement. I am grateful that this lady Anita has had the courage to speak out and not cover up anything being done in God's name (IF - AND ONLY IF - the detail I read was true, then that would make any wrongdoing, and the lies and deception that go along with it, BLASPHEMY, would it not? And it would be quite right to walk away and not collude with any such practices, IF this is the case. Look what happened to Ananias and Sapphira in the early church). We may never know the truth, but God does.

that's the reason as to why the scripture says that women should remain silent in church and do not speak, women are a weaker vessel. if u realize, pastor Chris did not divorce her but she is the one who divorced him, and i believe she knows that Christians are not supposed to do so. then how can such a woman be a pastor, Paul said that it was the woman who was deceived not the man ....Women should not be given authority in the churches, that's usurpation of authority.1 Timothy 2:14-15 says, " And Adam was not deceived but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in child bearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety." even prophet Isaiah was condemning Israel when he said that women ruled over them (Isaiah 3:12). 1 Timothy 2:11-!5 clearly states; "Let the women learn in silence with all subjection. But i suffer a woman not to teach nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence........." Anita should not even be a pastor of any church according to the word of God because she is a woman, you have even seen how she acts in marriage. so there is no way a woman who cannot respect the institution of marriage can lead a church of God, so God has shown you by experience that she cannot pastor a church. That's usurpation of authority. 1 Corinthians 14:34-37- " Let your women keep silence in the churches for it is not permitted to them to speak but to be under obedience.......

David Kayanja with all due respect don't quote scriptures you have no understanding of. It's best to read different versions of those sculptures than to make a fool of yourself online. And don't just read one verse n finalise it read the whole chapter. Why would God create someone after his own likeness give her dominion then tell her when you come into my presence don't speak??? Elizabeth Oben you are judgeing this women and forgot that she is only human. At least her comment can be usefull to others.
