Just found out that the webhooks I created in year 2020 suddenly stopped, because it is a payed service now. Payed subscription to a PRO service is necessary now. I will not use IFTTT webhooks anymore....

I used to use webhooks for some of my diabetes monitoring. A personal medical purpose with only 1 to 2 apps that has been moved to Pro

Webhooks is by far the best and easiest way to do Siri shortcuts, much faster than using an action through the app controlling e.g. your lights. And even works on devices without the requisite apps, like I use my Apple Watch Ultra action button to run the Shortcut to Toggle Lights in my room! 👏🏼👩🏼‍💻 Then my other webhooks are super easy to run with I.e. "Hey Siri, Heater" which toggles the wifi plug my house heater is on! 😊

Will be cool to know how to setup an openapi schema in gpt's so that we can have gpt's initiate transactions / webhooks. So you could setup simple workflows triggerd by GPT i.e I could setup GPT to switch my home lights.

it used to be free with limited usage, but now it's a PRO feature altogether. Well, time to finally learn about port forwarding, SSH and tunnelling!

This is incredibly disingenuous. Literally glazing over the fact that this is a paid service whether or not you are brand new or have had ifttt applets for years. Its going to be very difficult for you to "build a small community" anywhere with these kinds of shady and greedy tactics.

you know if they made ifttt totally free then it means -YOU- are the product, they would sell -YOU- to make their money. I'm happy to pay to keep my data private

actually now you're giving them your money ON TOP of your privacy, not INSTEAD
