Sim2 generation is some of the best sounding and looking woods of all time at address, imo. I have the driver and it's the best driver I've ever used for consistently keeping the ball in play. Not the longest, but definitely the most accurate for me. Slow swings and off hits still get me 240 out. Avg around 260 and my big drives flirt with 290-300. Really want to pair it with the sim2 3 wood soon!
Just had a fitting and your right the sim2 max helped get rid of my bad left to right shots found it more forgiving than my epic flash , my club speed is lower at around 103 so I’m only around the 245 carry distance but will take straight all day
I find a common theme year to year like callaway with one year having major adjustment in sim1 vs this years sim2 with very minimal. Fixed weights on driver and glued in heads in with woods.
Went and tested a Sim 2 TI 5 wood today. I found it to be better sounding off the face than my previous Sim Max 5 wood. Was averaging about 240 carry with my old one, was hitting the new one about 5 yards further. I had a flier that carried 272 and 299 total. I ended up buying it, not for that reason, but I like the slightly smaller form factor!
I like the shout out for the HL model. I recently got fitted for the HL, as a 3 wood is my Achilles heel. The HL was just fantastic for ball flight and consistent hits for me. Great lineup and plenty of options for the sim 2. Great video as always 👍🏼
I noticed the height is missing here Mike. Would be great to add it back. I know it's not for you but I'd love to see you test the HL version of the 3 wood to see how it goes in your hands.
Titanium vs. steel, very interesting. But surprised by the smash factor results!? Maybe under certain circumstances steel performs simply as well, if not better than, as titanium. Also due to the different structural material, perhaps the COG affects the results, too.
Great review, Michael. I don’t like a closed face either because I do hit the ball to the left with them. To me, it seems like 3 woods are a lot larger these days. I prefer a smaller head. Any recommendations? I’m playing a TaylorMade M2 4 wood for the extra loft. It still looks too large to me.
Great review Mike loved it and also great advice I might give the 16.5° 3 wood approach a try being summer here in Australia getting very tight lies, could you please do a comparison between wilson staff model cb and P7MC or 921 tour irons trying to blend with staff model blade loft from 7 iron up 🙏👍
Hello Michael. I am new to your channel and i find your videos very interesting. In that video of your review of the SIM 2 titanium fairway wood, what shaft flex did you use ? Because i have the SIM 2 driver with a X-Stiff shaft and swing an average 113 mph (i am right handed). What flex do you recommend if i buy that SIM 2 fairway wood (i swing my M6 3 wood at average 109 mp/h but with a stiff shaft) Thank you and have a good day!

Can you do a video comparing SIM2, TSi 3wood and Ping G425. Great job!
Yes please!
That SIM2 MAX HL seems like a great idea for those of us who struggle to flight a 3Wood👍
I have a sim max 5 wood which is a real fairway finder, would also like to see this against G425

245 carry with a 103 swing speed. That's pretty far

I completely agree with you about last year’s version of the Sim being so rounded.

Looking forward to booking a custom fit session at PGH to try these against the Ping G425. Hope we can all get out playing again soon!
Very informative and very good video, but please could you include the height ?
Love to see new sim2 max v g425. Which is better!?

Seen a lot of videos but you are a great ball striker
Great review. Launch angle much more consistent with the max.
Really enjoying your videos this year, keeping me going during lockdown! 👏👏👏
Which TM SiM2 Ti shaft option is closest to the AV Orange option offered by Ping? Thanks so much... enjoy your videos.
Yet again another great review Mike. I will stick with my Pings tho. Hope to try the new G425 when I can
Thanks
Great review Mike👍Great looking clubs 😊🏌♂️

Great comparison review Mike, looks like the Max2 is better value. Keep well
Thanks. Nice review.
Awesome review!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great review as always Mike. Keep em’ comin!
Thanks

Just picked up the sim2 ti model on ebay for 270 in 2022. They hold their price like Hondas lol
thanks Mike!
I have a sim2 max, is it supposed to look like it sits open
Top shelf review brother as usual 👌
Thanks

Anybody know the name of the track from the intro

Welcome to the channel and glad your enjoying the videos. I would X in the 3 wood also
Great review Mike... You're one of the best out there! Will you be doing a 2021 fairway wood comparison/shoot out video??
Pity the new Sim driver doesn't look like the Sim max fairway wood...
I don’t think these look as good as the epic woods 🏌️♀️⛳️
cant believe there's people who genuinely like the look of a Callaway club.
Weird intro music. Makes me wanna just dance
Ping for me
