What a fantastic and entertaining video! Only The Cure can make a song like 'Hot, Hot, Hot' and 'Kiss Me, Kiss Me..." and "Catch" and other diverse and exotic songs that sound so authentic and brilliant and all one epic double album. This is Cure at their finest.
I love all his little sounds. The little whoos and mmms just MAKE this band ✨️
Probably my favorite are the three little hisses he sneaks in on Catch after the line "I always used to wake up sore".

I'm actually really glad you brought that song up, because I realised I heard it when I was a kid and I remember googling the lyrics trying to find it, but couldn't. Finally found it again! Sorry, I know this is a bit of a ramble, but I'm so happy I found it again
@@PrinceOctober3579 Fun story: I bought Galore back in the late '90s, and it was a big staple of my CD collection. Sometime in the early '00s, it disappeared from my collection, and I assumed it ended up in a different box than the rest of my CDs when I moved. I always thought I would find it again, so I didn't want to replace it.
After more than 20 years, I finally bought a new copy. I knew that there would be familiar songs that I hadn't heard in a long time, but I was not prepared for track 2. I completely forgot Catch existed. As soon as the opening drumbeat started, all the music and lyrics immediately flooded into my memory, and I instantly remembered how intensely I loved a song that I hadn't thought about in 2 decades.
That happened 2 days ago, and I've listened to Catch at least 50 times in the last 48 hours -- no exaggeration.

The Cure is one of the greatest bands in the history of music. They are exquisitely unique and frankly unrepeatable. Though Robert Smith and company have influenced scores of bands that have followed they have created music that is so intensely magical and so deliciously soul invigorating it’s almost impossible to try and define it I’m sure that my story with this band is no different than your own. They were one of the musical institutions that saved me in the youthful coming of age period of deep confusion and overpowering despair that is high school. When I first heard this album, going from their post punk and goth. Then for lack of a better word hating love cats and their pop stuff. This album blew my 🤬ing mind. It was pop but the orchestration was collected and clever. Sinister and obsessive.
