When holding ETCs you need to make sure it actually holds physical gold rather than just the futures of gold. Huge difference and makes s huge risk difference

Most of gold traded is inform of deravatives. But if you want to buy real gold. There are investment banks that offer them the problem is they will be expensive because you need to pay for insurance and storage fee. Of which it intends to become more expensive than holding deravatives. If you are scared of holding futures you just purchase gold certificates and you can actually earn interest from them

I fail to see the merits of housing as a primary investment any more with housing being more unaffordable and quality of new housing taking a dip, requiring more maintainence. Also it isn't as liquid as other investments. Attiitudes of the younger generation towards housing being achievable has also changed. But I hate the fact that nothing is predictable any more.

Property does add diversification to a portfolio, but I agree it’s nothing like as liquid as most other assets and is a lot more hassle.

The media is currently barraged with a lot of economic data right now. It takes a lot to see beyond the whole ocean of news on focus on what is important, which is that no matter how low stocks go, they always bounce back. I really ignore all the news and keep investing. recently allocated about $61k to put in the market as we anticipate a crash.
    Any recommendations?

You have to get a financial advisor to aid you diversify your portfolios to include commodities, inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flows, as opposed to growth stocks where valuations were based on future potential earnings.

There are many interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow.
You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.

I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I started my business. Knowing today's culture the challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit points

Personally im backing my theory with everything i have earned over the last 4 years i bought well in 2020 and did very well mainly just look and cercumstance but i believe we have a pull back from march leading to start of a rally in june when first rate cut happens so ive placed 20% in ung etf as i believe the widow maker is due to rise significantly because of future geo political events . And im holding 75% to short the big caps in november exoecting them to return very well by january which is where we will see a 25%30% drop

so apparently politicians in America, countries like japan etc and even CEOs are selling billions worth of their stocks as they're predicting the stock market to crash, how does an investor protect themselves from this.

Buy through the good times and the bad and hold for a long enough duration that it doesn’t make a difference. Check out US stock returns towards the end of the video and you’ll see what I mean

You short at high leverage and celebrate and when it hits bottom you put all earnings into stock at all time lows and wait for it to come back up
