You're missing one key part of your video - maintenance. I have a different portable AC unit, hence my looking into getting a different one. And what I've learned is that things like removable air filters so you can blow the dust off them and the water reservoir which, for those who don't know, is where the water in a humid environment will go as the AC is cooling, are after thoughts. Do you have any advice on these maintenance aspects for the Coolzy?
good point - I'll do an update video after 6-12 months, but in general, with portable ACs it's just a simple filter change that's needed every 6 or so months.
@@AirConditionerLab From other sources I've read and watched it's common to actually take enough of the housing off to: 1 - Thoroughly dust the interior. 2 - With a soft bristle brush, gently dust off the condenser so as not to damage the very fragile metal fins. 3 - Ensure the water reservoir is appropriately drained at all times depending on local weather, ie. more humid environments will require water removal more often. In short, this is a great example of what is to expected when maintaining a portable ac unit. That is, if you don't want to waste your money buying a new one sooner than expected. ruclips.net/video/pWX7sgPcTIk/видео.html&lc=Ugw0d-TKbzXyqGDNQvx4AaABAg.A8pf9pMT6wLA8qFdWPl25l
It can cool a small room, but it has half the BTUs of most portable ACs, so think of it as half the cooling power. This is why it's better used as spot cooling in garages, when sleeping in warm rooms, or in rooms venting is difficult.
Room size for this model depends on how its being used. With the venting attached - up to about 90 sq ft but without the venting - 30-50 sq ft as its better for direct cooling towards a person.
Not sure which AC unit to buy? Check out my complete database of home AC units in the description above
I allready bought this unit. Good product, so small size with a lot of flexibility.
Nice! I always wondered if ventless ACs ever existed.
Thanks for the quality review. Very informative and thorough.
Thanks for the review! Keen to give it a go
Isn't this counterproductive to use it invented if you are trying to cool a whole room...to have hot air exiting the unit at the same time as cool?
Yes, this is why I explained how this model offers vented and ventless solutions

Plastic shield goes on the front and it blows cool air not cold air.
wrong on both accounts but thanks for the comment
I don’t understand so it only can cool a spot can it cool a room? Would be helpful to see u use in an actual room w/ closed doors and such
