I’m Polish and I was very impressed with your little speech. Very correct and understandable. I live in Ireland and I’m married to an Irish girl. We love languages in our house, Polish, English, French and obviously Irish. My kids are learning Irish at school and on Duolingo - buckets of fun. Greetings from Ireland. Pozdrawiam serdecznie.
For me you were totally understandable and your accent was a bit different but still really good. That's impresive that you have spent only one month on that. Polish people will appreciate very much, that you put your effort to lern their language so feel free to use it a lot, even with making a lot of mistakes :)
Your grammar, which is usually the biggest concern, is so impressive! All the declensions and conjugations were great. Pronunciation is spot on too, I understood absolutely everything. You've done a great job, as long as you keep it up, you're set!
Gabriel, when you are learning a language, do you push yourself to think in the language that you are learning or do you expect that eventually it will come naturally?
You can't think in 12 languages. You think in the language you are showed the most. Example. In Italian native. I live in Estonia. I thought mostly in Italian than moved to English because I was using it every day . Now I think half English and Estonian and dream in Estonian. This to say even as a polyglot there will always be. 1 not total fluency to all languages. 2. Shift of thinking according to the language you are exposed the most.
Wow! That's impressive. Polish native speaker in here.:-) If You want I could search You on duolingo and help You keep up with learning more spoken Polish.Plus thank You for the insight into how the native speaker of Portugese may sound like when speaking in basic Polish. At first Your speaking makes an impression of someone from maybe another Slavic country, but second part of Your speech allows me to hear some elements of Portugese phonetics and accent. I have always dreamt of learning Portugese myself, so maybe some language exchange could be possible? As for duolingo I'm currently struggling with basics of German there, so any advice from You how to tackle German could be valuable too. Maybe You could make more video on learning German if You already know it? Since it's very desirable foreign language both in Europe and in USA. But learning it independently from a scratch is quite challenging.
Jestem pod wrażeniem! Odmiana w polskim jest dość trudna, a Tobie idzie świetnie. W życiu bym nie powiedziała, że uczysz się tylko miesiąc. Wymowa też jest ok. ;) Pozdrawiam i powodzenia! (I hope you don't mind me writing in Polish, I thought it could be a little training for you ;).
Okay, this video gives me motivation to continue learning Polish. Your speech is so good and gold. Even though I won't live in Poland and I don't need it in daily life, Polish language is beautiful and not really hard for a native Russian speaker. Just the endings are a bit hard to wrap my head up. Nowadays it's hard to find language partners so I'm sticking to Duolingo and Krok po Kroku.
WoW Gabriel this is a very good Polish for 35 days of learning. I'm glad to hear you appreciate it :) My Italian (after about 3 weeks) is nowhere near your Polish ;)
You drove me to more desire at learning Polish. It bending the video's subject I'd like to say that I'm studying english for more than fours hours every day and I got the most you'd said at this video. That's a progress in my english. Meantwhile, your Polish at this video was already good so I can guess how much your polish has gotten better since this day. It bending the subject again, I'd like to make you a question: how do you memorize high number of words from a such a different foreign language? I'm studying korean and found me out with difficulty at recalling korean words.
I’ve started learning polish a week ago.. I was in Poland for 2 weeks (escaped Ukraine lol) … the people there were awesome, hospitable ah.. I’ve decided to settle in Poland to practice my profession after graduation and so have begin focusing on polish language

Salut, cześć!! Je peux parler le français et le polonais, malgré le fait que je suis né en angleterre et aussi l'anglais étais la premier langue que j'ai appris. Mówisz po polsku jest bardzo cool i ja chcę uczyć się to. Merci & do widzenia.
Wtf, I did the whole polish tree twice and compared to you I still completely suck at cases and tenses, also my vocabulary is more limited, however I think my pronunciation is quite good :D
