One more interesting fact for those who are interested in the russian part of her lore:
Huntress is humming a motive of a russian lullaby called «Bayu bayushki bayu», wich tells small children and babies that they should sleep far from the edge of the bed, otherwise the wolfs will bite them by the side and drag them to the forest "under the raspberry bush"...
Stealing and capturing children is what Anna exactly do, even she's not a wolf though (but she has those cosmetics with a wolf mask in game).

Her description of 'ripping into a man's neck with 1 hand' sounds unbelievably brutal. I would like to imagine she just punched the guy so hard her fist clenched into the man's spinal cord, so she bent his head back with the other hand & severed the head like she was tearing a stalk of celery in half. Russian Bear Woman, waifu AAA material. Anna, Zarya from Overwatch, & Balalaika of Black Lagoon are all favorites of mine.
I've been aware of DbD since its Beta. I recently found your channel 2 weeks ago, & the 'Kill Count' of each Villain.
The Huntress, the Trapper, & The Plague (Priestess of Athens?) all stood out to me as 'Strangely compelling backstories'.
She began as a hardcore little girl, in a woods so cold that each SINGLE STEP is a monumental effort in the Deep cold, a survivalist from infancy. Her mother died killing the Elk that nearly killed Anna. She threw herself infront of the Demon Elk's horns.
She lived alone, killing wild animals until one day she encounters a battlefield & tracks Russian soldiers to their camps. She observes 'human interaction' from the worst of humanity. (Debatable. Patriots, not Mercenary Bandits. The Line becomes blurred in War)
She uses the Mask to feel closer to her Dead Mother. She encaptures 'Bubushkas' in order to feel something other then her bloodlust, maybe a 'Channel' back into her past-life before she was Alone & consumed by the need to Kill. Unfortunately, seeing 'their family's murderer singing to them while they are being neglected & chained by the neck' is enough to give most of them a Fatal Panic attack, suffocating all but the most defiant. They all eventually die from heartbreak & exposure, which flings Anna's Psyche from Mother Wolf to Lone Wolf, 500% Bloodlust to 1000% Bloodlust setting.
She kills to avenge her father, she kills to remember the day before she was alone & her mother died defending her. She abducts to feel remorse (maybe, hard to tell) & while she 'might' think she's rescuing these girls from either neglectful or worthless families, she is absolutely DEEPLY scarring & destroying their lives, like hers was through Fate.

@@willhuey4891 no. Unlike the other killers being licensed or unlicensed, hes a breed. They created a new ghostface, one that tones well to the sinister theme of deadbydaylight. Unlike stu, bill and the others in the movies, Danny is calculated psychopath of a serial killer unlike the clumsy and comedic ghostface in the films. The licensing is based off of the costume that originated in a Halloween store.

On the Amanita Mushroom add on, as a hunter. You dont want an animal to feel too much pain when you kill it yes because it's cruel, but also because the stress hormone it releases can near spoil the meat. My guess is she also uses the toxin to slow the animal down in case she didn't deliver a killing blow.

You are adding on more to her lore than there is. She was never a cannibal, they gave her that reputation cuz of the little girls and dead men found in the forest. She was tought better by her mother before her passing. It upsets me when people are adding on things that are false to characters.

19:43 - small correction should be added; amanita toxin is not for children or for easing pain - in the east it is just known as one of the most potent toxins occuring in the nature. Basically; if she strucks someone with balde of axe, it is guaranteed that 2-3 days later he will die of hepatic problems, as amanita destroys a liver. I do now know how it is viable or maybe it is a little far fetched (becouse toxin may not survive so long on the blade or in winter), but nothenless, it is a poison, not stun for the mind of victim.

I mean from the story it sounded like something that she would have tried to pursued to have even if it was going to go to one of those little girls who was going to end up dead either way?
