    Was it this one you were making ‘pew! Pew!’ sounds with when you finished?

    Have this kit yet to build . Did'nt realise at the time they provided individual track links which having used them countless times still find them tedious and boring to assemble .l would have to disagree with you about rubber band tracks . Admittedly the old style ones were poor but the ones used in Tamiya models and other kits are far more accurate and stick with plastic cement , a real bonus . Link and length would have been a better option too . Still nice review . Wish l 'd brought the Tamiya version but even with individual track links l hope the Takom kit will be a pleasurable build when l get around to it . Your completed Jagd tiger looks impressive . l have subscribed .

      Yeah mate you know with the tracks I'm not sure which I prefer now,this kit I made 2 years ago,link in link look good, can be tedious, rubber band are quicker but can also be poor fitting, even the smaller section tracks can be a bugger, and I think now I'm leaning more towards tracks are a bit of a pain,and just part of armour, like cockpit prepainting is just part of the process with planes, sorry for the ramble, thanks for the sub and glad you liked how the tank came out in the end. Currently working on a sky raider 1/48 that should be out as a video 2026 that's tamiya and after a long span of vintage airfix builds a modern kits so refreshing!

    Is it possible to make this oxide red?

      Shouldnt be a problem, I would just use tamiya red oxide as the base coat

    I thought these tracks supposed to be working?

    • @scalestuff1066
      @scalestuff1066 6 месяцев назад

      I think they can be, I might have just glued them soild on this one, Im not 100% sure I build this kit about 2 years ago, I can did out the instructions for you and have a look?

    • @scalestuff1066
      @scalestuff1066 6 месяцев назад

      Yes mate the tracks can be built live, but the over lap and two parts over the hindge mean glue wicks into the hindge and removes the live part, also not putting glue on both sides of the track to make it live makes it really really delicate, just looked at the instructions and yeah flashbacks
