Two Steps From Hell - Protectors of the Earth
But we can also thank our allies for so much support. alone we are powerful but together no one can come close to matching our strength
wow brilliant !!! the end was so epic !! america all the way !!!
I understand that europeans were fighting and dying long before we were relevant in world affairs, The struggle of the Spartans at Thermopolyae Caesar's Gallic Wars, Henry V's (possibly fictional) speech at Agincourt, and the charge of the Cuirassiers at Eylau all are just as epic and inspiring as anything we've accomplished.
I am Proud to be in JROTC :)
Thats the name of the song
Exactely :-)
Clearly, some of you need to adjust your meds. It's a freaking music video, and a well done one. Funny how all you othernations beat your chests and yell about how selfish, amoral, and brutal America is,but when there is a disaster, natural or man made...Americans come to your aid first, again and again.
the Special Air Service? Thats a British special force
LOL at 0:18 epic landing bro!
Gulf War: Along with an international coalition, expelled Saddam Hussein from Kuwait (Failure to follow it up was a big mistake).
Somalia: Intervened in a horrible civil war. Left when Clinton pissed himself after the Battle of Mogadishu.
Bosnia: NATO airpower and ground forces put a temporary stop to large scale ethnic cleansing.
Kosovo: US and NATO froce Yugoslav withdrawal from Kosovo and put an end to the Balkans wars.
And for the last example....The Roman Empire had more than 60 wars.
That was actually the point i was trying to make but that portugese guys clearly lacks knowledge..i admit i may have been rude...The U.S lost alot of men during wars wich contributed on the freedom of europe......every soul who perished in the war deserves to be honored...even german nazi soldiers or fascist soldiers...the leader where the cause of dezaster not the soldiers...they were just following the orders. It was a pleasure talking about history with you :D
Outstanding!!
plus in vietnam korea pakistan afghanistan libia iraq europe participated also...so those wars don't matters since Europe had fought in those wars also
The United States when to Vietnam to help their allie S.Vietnam from the N.Vietnam, also the N.Vietnam attackt US Bases in S.Vietnam.
(It's like what happend with the Korea war)
The United States never lost any battles in the War, but the War wosen't very popular in American forcing the US Goverment to withdraw from the war and seek peace betwin the 2 Nations.
Afther all US Troops left S.Vietnam the North when to war again and with out the support of US troops and supplyes the South lost.
still Europe had way more wars...starting from the ancient times to modern times.
Far from being the Great Satan, I would say that we are the Great Protector. We have sent men and women from the armed forces of the United States to other parts of the world throughout the past century to put down oppression. We defeated Fascism. We defeated Communism. We saved Europe in World War I and World War II. We were willing to do it, glad to do it. We went to Korea. We went to Vietnam. All in the interest of preserving the rights of people.
I agree with you :D you speak kind and good words..I take back what i said ok ? But you can agree with me that Europe had way more wars...and a much bigger history when it comes to empires and wars.
Do you remember when the Romans conquered Europe, the england, north africa, turkey, etc?
The vietnam war was always to protect an US Allie in need of assistance.
Where is the Coast Guard
force recon are marines and sas is british army
Well, they kinda are the military police, aren't they?
Go tell the world, stranger passing by,
That here, defending their freedom,
Americans died.
World's protected against the terrorist of the extremist, by our Armed Forces. CPL UNITED STATES MARINES.
Hooah...
Very well.
Yah go America were the best!
Hey I think you're on to something here. Drop the CGI and promo footage, and perhaps replace it with more stock/real-life footage of the US forces. Works well though nonetheless.
And what about Vietnam? I'm not against USA, but I want understand
And when all those conflicts were over, what did we do? Did we stay and conquer? Did we say, And did we ask for any land? No, the only land we ever asked for was enough land to bury our dead. And that is the kind of nation we are. - General/Secretary of State Colin Powell
epic video but our force isnt that large anymore we got reduced to a sized pre world war 2
but we still have the second biggest standing military if we were to put all the reserve's in i'm sure we'd be the largest military out there and the strongest! we rank number one in military strength and we have the Superior weapons!
not true try again...
it is true Bee Cool
It's a hard thing to get a solid answer for but according to the best sources I could find the lowest total number of military personnel in america was in 2005. I can't find any stats that show current numbers only up to about 2011-12. In all honesty it seems quite difficult to get a good number but it seems like it's been hovering at about the same level for several decades.
we have the largest standing army and we have the best weaponry in combat and in beta testing
Also, bfore you start insulting us, maybe you should stroll on over to the cemetaries in Normandy, Lorraine, Suresnes, and Brittany (And any others I forgot), stand in front of the graves of thousands of American soldiers, and tell them how superior Europe is, how their country can burn. The nations of Europe are free today, in large part, because America made it so. (Oh yeah, I can't forget England, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Anglosphere FTW).
IIt;s obvious to anyone but a moron that Europe had more wars (3,000+ more years in which to do it). However, I happen to live in the modern USA, so let's review our combat history post WWII:
Korean War: Along with NATO and UN allies, saved South Korea from a monstrous, inhuman, soulcrushing communist dictatorship.
Vietnam War: Tried and failed to save South Vietnam from a similar fate (due in large part to a lack of will to see it through).
All the Nations that the US has ever been in war too declared war to the US (WW2) were ataking US Allies (Vietnam) had problems with the UN (Korea War, Iraq) were comunist (Granada) Terrorist strong holes (Iraq, Afganistan, Pakistan) or US aid was requested (Sumalia Operation restoring hoppe AKA Black Hawk Down and other War i can not remmenber at the moment) If the US ivaded Iraq for their oil or not it dosen't mader, iraq was killing it's own people and had alot of problems with the UN.
Afghanistan: Invaded a nation groaning under a radical Islamist theocracy in response to mass murder of American citizens.. Liberated much of the country (conflict ongoing). Enabled return of millions of Afghan refuges. Enabled the creation of a relatively liberal Middle Eastern state.
Iraq: Defeated a vicious dictator, liberated a nation from 40 years of oppression. Helped the new Iraqi nation to stand on its own. Enabled the creation of another relatively liberal Middle Eastern state.
Maintaining peace by invading other countries.Way to go ... You can even see in some document movies (american made) talking about true reasons invading those countries and that are - resources.Or go watch some Jesse Ventura videos, they make lot of sense.Im not against American soldiers,Im against those whose in charge of it all.Goverments and such...
Keep in mind the U.S. has only conquered the Philippines, Puerto Rico, America Samoa, Wake, and Guam. All of them were taken after the Spanish American War in 1898 and we got Samoa in a treaty with Germany. The Philippines are free, and the rest can leave whenever, except maybe Guam and Wake which are Military Bases. Land taken from Native Americans also doesn't count do to the ideals of those periods. If what you say is true than our so called empire sucks.
I mean, the world police*
Not heroes. Men and women protecting america and her allies. And I'm not a soldier hater but I know enough soldiers and veterans that would say the same thing.
The colonists came from all parts of the world, America it self has 300 years but the people in it have over 2,000 Years of history.
If you think that Europeans are grate warriors then the Americans are grate warriors too, cuz Americans came from Europe, Asia, Africa. All of Earth's gratest warriors are in America and Canada.
It's no surprise that the Americans are the moust powerfull of the world, allways were allways will be.
I know US History and FYI, i'm from Europe (Portugal)
