Closest I ever got? Back around 2002 my yahoo games (damn I'm old) online billiards partner started chatting. She lived in Omaha, about 50 miles from me. My art teacher in high school was young and attractive. One morning I came in early and the 2 of us were the only ones there. I was taking a test I’d missed the next day and had asked a question about the test. She must not have heard me and decided to walk over from across the room and sit on the table I was working on.

I had a pain in my nuts when I was 14, went to the doctors and got three physical exams from older male doctors (NHS system in UK can be really slow) and then had to do a urine sample test, and then finally had to go for an ultrasound where two older female doctors had to apply cold gel stuff to my sack and do the ultrasound and then ultra sounded my kidneys as well. turned out it was a common issue with guys where some of the blood vessels swell up and cause a stabbing
ache to the nut in question. I'm fine now, but it was really weird when it happened.

When it comes to the perfect apple pie there are 2 questions you need to ask. What kind of apples are best for apple pie and how to get an amazing, flaky pie crust.
BEST APPLES FOR PIE
There are so many apple varieties to choose from when making apple pie. Here a few common varieties that you can find at your local grocery store!
Granny Smith - These are the best apples for making apple pie because they are super tart and very firm. Firm apples hold up well during the baking process unlike varieties such as McIntosh which kind of turn to mush.
Honeycrisp - This is my second choice when it comes to apple pie. This variety is super crisp, tart, sweet and holds up great during the baking process.
Jazz - Another crisp and sweet apple variety.
Golden Delicious - Widely available apple variety. Holds up well during the baking process but will be a little softer than the others.
Jonagold - A little tart and sweet.
Pink Lady - Just like Jonagolds, this variety has a good balance of tart and sweet.
THE PERFECT PIE CRUST
The crust can be made a few days in advance and kept in the fridge or frozen until ready to assemble your apple pie.
If you decide to use a store-bought crust, make sure to follow the directions on the packaging to determine when to take the crust out of the fridge in order to handle it more easily.
HOW TO MAKE APPLE PIE FROM SCRATCH
Peel, core and slice the apples. In a large mixing bowl, gently toss the apple slices, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon zest and lemon juice until well combined and set aside. Place the oven rack in the center position and preheat your oven to 400°F.
Remove the discs of pie crust from the fridge and let set at room temperature for 5-10 minutes. On a lightly floured surface, roll one of the discs into a 12" circle that is ⅛" thick. Place the crust into the bottom of the deep dish pie plate.
Spoon the apple pie filling into the crust, discarding any liquid at the bottom of the mixing bowl. Spread the apple slices evenly.
On a lightly floured surface, roll the second disc of pie dough into a 12" circle that is ⅛" thick. Place the crust over the apple pie filling.
Use a sharp knife to trim the excess dough from around the edge of the pie plate. Use your fingers to pull both the bottom and top pie crust up and slightly away from the edge of the pie dish. Fold the edge under itself and press down to seal the edge in place. Rotate the pie a quarter turn and repeat until edges are neatly tucked in.
Place the pie dish onto a baking sheet and gently brush the surface of the dough with the egg wash and sprinkle sanding sugar on top. Use a sharp knife to cut vents in the crust.
In order to protect the edges of the pie from over-browning, use a long strip of aluminum foil (about 38" long) by folding it in half lengthwise and then folding in half again, lengthwise. Wrap it around the edges of the pie plate and over the edges of the crust. This is referred to as a "pie shield".
A strip of foil around the edges of the pie keeps them from over-browning while baking.
Bake the pie at 400°F for 25 minutes. Remove the pie shield, lower the oven temperature to 375°F and bake an additional 30-35 minutes.
You'll know the apple pie is done when the crust is a lovely golden brown and the juice is bubbling up the sides of the pan.
TIP: I recommend using a pie shield during the first 25 minutes of baking instead the second half of baking to prevent burning yourself when placing the shield onto the pie dish.

Scale - with this scale, you'll never need a set of measuring cups again. It's so much easier, and more accurate!
Mixing bowls

I love my Kitchenaid, but a wooden spoon works just as well for this recipe

Software:
1 cup (225 g) butter, melted
3 cups (600 g) white sugar
1 tablespoon (15 mL) vanilla extract
4 eggs (add one more for a cakier result)
1 1/2 cups (180 g) all-purpose flour
1 cup (70 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda (to give them a nice crust - omit if you don't want that)
6 oz chopped semisweet chocolate or 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (180 g)
STEP 2: Prepare
Preheat oven to 350oF (175o C).
Melt butter in the microwave or on the stovetop.
Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish with the paper from the butter.
STEP 3: Measure
It's a real time saver to measure everything before you get started. So get out that scale and a couple bowls, and let's get everything ready!
Turn on your scale, and place the bowl for your sugar on it. Tare the scale so it reads 0g. Pour in the sugar until it reaches 600g.
Repeat for the flour and cocoa. You can tare the scale again after adding the flour and before adding the cocoa, but I just added the numbers together to get the weight I'd need.
Whisk flour and cocoa together with soda and salt.
See, you never need to dirty up measuring cups again!
STEP 4: Add Butter to Sugar
Combine the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl.
Mix!
STEP 5: Add Eggs
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each, until thoroughly blended.
STEP 6: Add Flour Mixture
Gradually stir in the flour and cocoa mixture on low speed.
STEP 7: Choclify
Toss the chocolate chips in a light dusting of flour, and stir into the mix with a spoon or spatula.
The flour will keep them suspended in the batter and prevent them from all sinking to the bottom!
Step 8: Bake
Pour into prepared pan.
Spread the batter in the pan, slightly mounding on the sides so it will all bake evenly (avoiding the typical mound you get in the middle after baking).
Bake for 35-40 minutes.
STEP 9: Nom
The brownies are done when a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. My batch initially crowned well over the pan, but later sunk back down into dense fudgey deliciousness.
Enjoy hot with a cool glass of milk or a la mode!

Idk if this counts...but I had a coworker that was into me when I was married before. I didn't actually understand that this was the case because I'm kinda stupid about women and how they show interest. But we had another coworker that was a swinger chick that knew. One day we were all talking and having fun I went into the back to grab some stuff for the line and they followed teasing me about something. We'll the swinger chick shoved the girl that was into me into the walk in. I dropped what I was holding to catch her. I didn't realize it was a set up. She leaped up and locked her arms around me and kissed me very deeply. I was so dumbfounded that I didn't pull away. I was in shock really. Nothing like this had ever happened to me before. Well afterwards...I felt guilty because I had enjoyed it. So I felt the only thing to do was go home with her and face the music to my wife. We walked in and I asked to speak together upstairs in the bedroom as it was the only private place we could actually talk. I confessed what happened and told my wife I was sorry and would accept whatever punishment she deemed worthy if she would just forgive me. Her response was to get up off the bed walk past me, lock the door and pull the me and the other girl to her. I'm pretty sure u can figure out what happened after that. It was so very unexpected. The entire thing. I still wonder how it ended up being like that. We were altogether for almost a year before things got dicey and they ended up fighting over me for whatever reason.
