I just love when i see fish room tour , and the person looks after the tanks says about the each fish tank they saying " I love this fish is my favourite, i love that fish thats my favourite " 🙂 saying that proofs they give a good care and hi loves his hobby
Just got 10 clown killis and 10 explanation point rasboras today in the mail from the wet spot. All 20 arrived in great condition. After about 10 minutes in the tank the clowns were just about full color the rasboras took about 30 minutes. I can't express how healthy the fish look on arrival. Fingers crossed for the next few days. Great video
I ordered my very first fish from this place. A group of 10 Celestichthys Choprae and they were all alive and gorgeous and I kept then for a long time in my 15g, but my downstairs neighbor loved them and actually had a more suitable, longer set up for them so I gave them to him. That tank is a 15g fluval flex and now I have white clouds, a male hmpk betta and pygmy corys. The Wet Spot customer service os outstanding and answered all of my hundreds of questions promptly. Its a great place for online ordering which i do a lot of.
Thanks for the nice comments Emily! (From your pleco keeper 😉) and the L172a is mostly a carnivore. They will eat some SG repashy, but mostly are feed adult brine, blood worms, and grub pie repashy (they also eat small snails on occasion).
Dude, I'm in the beginning stages of a remodel. I can't be buying fish, but I feel like I have to buy fish..... Thanks for sharing Bob!!!! Excellent looking facility!!! 😊
This is the warehouse for The Wet Spot retail store in Portland, Oregon? I buy mostly live plants for aquascape projects and occasionally freshwater shrimp for those same projects. Haven't really bought much else form them.... yet, LOL. Oh yeah, bought some spider wood pieces too.
Hello, I’m looking for one of these Tetras, but a nice amount of these following Tetras. These are in order of importance to me. Toucan Tetra, Jellybean Tetra, Purple Tetra, Hummingbird Tetra, Gold Tetra, Morse Code Tetra, Loreto Tetra, and Fire Ant Tetra. I don’t want to buy any Tetra all out, but a nice size of Tetras. I enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for sharing.
Love this store. We use to order through their wholesale side the cichlid exchange. One thing to mention. There is no such thing as a "freshwater moray" thoes are saltwater eels that come into fresh to spawn. They eventually need to go into saltwater or they'll die... they can live a couple of their early years in fresh but they MUST eventually end up in salt water.. just a lil side note
There's actually new research showing that the adults of the fish shown, G. polyuranodon, live fully in freshwater environments! You can find the link on the Wikipedia page. ;)
Some of these species will need to be kept warmer or they will just slowly waste away. For instance any of the gold nuggets need to be 80+, Goldie plecos need 80+. But there are also a lot that will do just fine in the upper 70s like the Sultan plecos.
@@SteenfottAquatics well yeah but i mean like lots of home tanks are kept maybe 82, but if these have been at like 86 or 89 will they be able to drop to 82, seems like it would be hard because most fish won't be able to go that high, so what would you put them with
If youre buying them online they will already be down to the low to mid 70s by time they get to you. Then just float them until they are up to whatever temp your tank is. As long as its not a species that needs the higher temps they will be just fine. @@jdssurf
hm, i've seen many cavefish tanks with low light and they were very chill, certainly not like these were, interesting. Not arguing, but yeah I see them chilling as well. I wonder if it's a temp thing or something.
Hi @christina7160 you can read the parameters that we are currently keeping our fish room at on our website under online FAQs. We do have the room split into two different parameters to accommodate certain fish. If you have questions about specific fish, you can always email us though our question form on the website.
Is there a discord link?? I’ve been trying to figure out the live stream schedule but could use a little help, I don’t have Facebook/twitter/X so I’m a little lost 😅
I HAVE PURCHASED FISH FROM THEM BEFORE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. MY ORDER CAME IN WITH 100 PERCENT SURVIVAL RATE. I HAVE PURCHASED FROM ANOTHER PLACE THAT REALLY SCREWED ME. SO MY NEXT BUY WILL BE FROM WET SPOT.
@@TheWetSpotTropicalFishwell it's nice to see. appreciate you letting it be filmed, for those of us out of tank space just to see more fish, and those of us that want to order fish but wanna see how they are being treated first. Cool place, cool fish.
A lot do the wild caughts aren’t doing well in their environments, so by breeding them essentially fish breeders are saving them . The panda loach for example , is only found in the mountain streams of Jinxiu County, Guangxi Province, China

Bob, you weren't kidding when you said we'd see some fish that we have never seen before! Wow!!! Just incredible selection at the Wet Spot!❤
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm so fortunate to only be an hour away. I went to grad school in Portland, OR in the 90s and found The Wet Spot then. Great, great video!
Amazing seeing all these fish I’ve never seen before .
I enjoyed the presentation. So long and thanks for all the fish :)

I ordered 10 Black Ruby Barbs from the Wet Spot about a year ago.
Very satisfied.
Will order from them again

Hello from Detroit, nice warehouse, love the videos
I REALLY need The Wet Spot to ship to Canada. I don't care if it costs extra. I'm already used to that in this country 😅
MOAR LOACHES!!!!!!
Many years ago I worked at African Northwest Seattle 🥰🤪

24:27 What species of cory is that?
Those are Corydoras guapore!
The girl with you seems adorable.
This is actually the cichlid exchange.....correct?
So this is why some say online only they don’t have them in the store they are here
Hello and thank you for a fine tour ☺what are the white tubes made of thank you ☺
Hey there, they are just basic PVC pipe!
I've yet to encounter a pleco that wouldn't eat animal protein when offered it. Whether that be insect, crustacean, or otherwise.
Nice get!!
with the plecos being kept that warm, how are they at adapting to lowering temps to home aquarium?

@18:50 are those pedicure catfish? 😂
They're Mystus tengara; Pedicure fish are Garra rufa and are Cyprinids not catfish. 😊

What’s the name of the fishes at 4:35? Red Bala Sharks?
Yup - Red Fin Bala Sharks. :)
Now imagine in Steve Irwins voice. "Aint she a beauty"
Private! 😮😅
Do you think you tell a bit about what ph and kh these fish need ?

We dont use discord. Live streams are usually every Monday at 5pm pst. But its been a busy month so we've had to miss a few.
29:19 plays? 😅
Corydoras eques, and Corydoras adolfoi.
Those “pink lemonade” tetra were those man made? I can’t see those coming from the wild…?
They are wild caught Tetras
@@SteenfottAquatics awesome! I wouldn’t mind getting me some of those! That’s so amazing they were wild caught! So pretty! Thanks for an amazing tour.

What if fish have human tanks
I thought wet spot hated RUclips
Were all not that bad.
It's been hard finding the perfect person to ease us into the RUclips world, but we finally found him (and her). 💖

one hour and twenty minutes waiting to see fancy guppies and you skipped them thanks
Your welcome.
can't help but feel sorry for the wild caughts...from freedom & unlimited space to a prisoner in a comparably tiny space...:(
My thoughts exactly.
Yeah but their life in the wild can be violent and short with all the predators. In aquariums they can live for years.
