Our tub routes are huge, 3500-5500 stops. There's no way we'd get them done like this. We get a reroute in January when we switch to hourly. I'm the only driver who has ever completed one of those routes by themselves and believe me, I was really worn out. It was in a McNeilus MSL/ASL and in really light areas I opened up the left side and double sided (oh no).
+rws676 Yeah the first company that bought us out was trying to kill us I'm sure. Now I just hope WM gets this stuff straightened out because there's no way you can service that many homes without double siding and driving too fast. Even if only about half the people recycle it's still too much.
Our manual trash routes average a thousand houses and the tub routes are 3 to 5 trash routes. This is in KCK where they don't limit trash pick up so people don't try very hard to recycle.

+John Sidwell holy cow, the biggest one here is like 2100 stops. You gotta do what you gotta do to get the route done.

My old truck had Those two bars hanging on each side of the rear of the truck also.(Dumpster hookup)

I'm surprised they don't give this driver an MSL to do the route, would be much faster. Still, great footage, nothing like a McNeilus rear loader!
At 5:45 you should have taken that bin!!!!! as on to future videos, throw some trash footage in especially some of those larger setouts.
