Great run and quick review! I know what you mean about giving a lot of info so quick as you're just starting to see what it can do but it's nice to hear those initial thoughts. Looks like it's got a lot of potential. Of course the barrage of comparison questions will roll....like how does it compare to the SCX10 II or the TRX-4 etc. Difficulty is making comparisons as they are stock to stock. Perceptions are skewed as you fine tune models and improve the performance. Either way, I wish you luck with all those question and hope you enjoy the journey of discovering a new rig in the game! Thumbs up #154 and looking forward to seeing what all you do with it!

Awesome video! Trails looks very similar to the ones around my neck of woods (South Norway). Too bad there are floods around my area and my CFS is real bad for the last two weeks, otherwise I need a long trail run badly since I have not done one since mid summer. Keep up the good work! PS I would rather own this than the TRX4, I like it simple!

HPI has won me over after seeing it at speed on the bumpy road. Love the body more than the trx-4 which seems boxy and out of balance. SCX10-2 would be my choice but I hate the body, specifically the sound of it scraping against everything, I'd have to totally replace it. All these including HPI has priced this right make it a win for me :)

Nice video is this finally out on market for us little peoples or just demo's? To tell you the truth I gave up on this crawler since it took so long for it too hit...But I still want it lol.
I was wondering about the slow speed throttle control , it seems too fast for my crawling ,..does it need a gear/pinion change to get precise slow speed /non jerky throttle or is it just esc/transmitter programming ?
@@nealedmondson3191 lmao dumbest comment ever 😂😂😂😂😂 the trx4 is an absolute tank the only problem people have is the crappy stock servos going out. I've seen people put 6s brushless systems in trx4s and the gears all take it fine, try that with any other crawler stock, they would explode lmao. I had a trx4 sport and sold it and it was unbreakable literally unbreakable even after I put an 8th scale brushless set-up in it, still ran greatest and I never took apart the transmission or diffs to maintain them I just beat on it and it took it like no other RC I've ever had.

Ive just bought my second SCX10 for my Christmas project *but* I like the Venture with forward motor and low profile transmission, with a lot of overtime at work maybe the Venture could be a Spring project lol
Chevy calls is Lightning Blue. Its just a normal blue with metallic flakes in it. Someday when i haven't washed it or during the right sunlight it almost looks purple. lol
