Thanx for the comment. You do not have to create the materials, you can import already captured materials into archicad. In google, you can type, "brick seamless texture" and download the result you like (the key is that the texture should be tileable that is seamless if duplicated in all directions) and follow the steps I have shown to import it as a fill.
