With funding from the International Rescue Committee (IRC), GHIV Africa’s MIYCN and Referral Pathways initiative has brought life-changing knowledge about health and well-being to communities like Mashmarri in Jere LGA.
Fanna Bukar, a caregiver and mother in the community, expressed her gratitude: “We had no knowledge about MIYCN, but with the help of GHIV Africa, I have gained invaluable knowledge about the importance of breastfeeding. This education has not only empowered me but has also positively influenced my family and community. I am grateful to GHIV Africa and IRC for this initiative. May God bless them for the incredible work they are doing.”
