Polyethylene is a very tough plastic for folding, but it resists chemical adhesion with glues. You have got me thinking, soda bottle ailerons?
I've found 2 layers of $2 store foam board carved down to a 'v' section and covered with lamination film or wide tape is the winner for ailerons. Hard to get a soda bottle rigid enough.
