Lamborghini Super Trofeo - Sepang | CarBuyer Singapore

This… is me at the Sepang International Circuit. You’re probably wondering what I am doing here… or maybe not… But anyway.
In most cases, whenever I am at any circuit, I usually am the one behind the wheel of a car. But today, things are a little bit different. This is the opening round of Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia… and today, we have the chance to get up and close… trackside.
The race series sees amateur and professional drivers alike, with drivers young as 17 years of age, and as old as 70 years, compete in the purpose-developed Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2.
So, a little about the car. The Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 is based on the road-going Huracan. Well… I mean, that’s obvious right?
Over here its V10 produces around 610hp and 570Nm, and of-course you get more aerodynamics, and more cooling. The price? Well we hear that the car alone will set you back a cool 250,000 euros.
Lamborghini’s race series is run concurrently in Asia, Europe and North America. A final race will be held between 16 to 17 November in Spain, at the famed Jerez De La Frontera Circuit.
