Mizyu is a boss. I had no idea she knew english so well. She also has the ability to match Suzuka's chaotic energy. Rin was great too with some of the more difficult words.
To me, Rin steals the show with her beautiful face and smiles (and, of course, with her wild hair styles!). It's just I like all four of them at the same time and dare not pick one over the other three! I do not suppose they all in a magic clubhouse you can visit if you are a super nice person who has a pure and gentle heart?
@@2460-1 You can see and hear her translating throughout not only this video but a few others. She's clearly reading English and speaking it quite well, even most of the more difficult words.
@@Racistobama You probably don't speak a second language or have learned one in order to understand how difficult it is. It is extraordinarily likely that they are using translations to understand. This includes other Q&As . I highly doubt a person learning a second language would have nailed the definition and understanding of every word and sentence. Moreover, translating it in an instant is pretty difficult.
I discover this group two weeks ago and I'm totally obsessed with all the songs, content and especially the energy that they have I really hope to see you in a concert one day 🤍
AG! Continues their world domination in 2024! I saw them last year on their whirlwind Seishun tour and my advise is, if they do another international tour, get tickets and go see them live! The show will be amazing!!
Met them in Chicago and got a picture. They were all very nice. They feel genuine in person and on stage. Suzuka's insanity is definitely real. Great job girls!
I really, really wonder why that is. I've never seen an idol group so dead-set on protecting their "origin story". They almost certainly met through ASOBISYTEM..why don't they just say that?
@aussieinosaka7204 I don't think this was the case, I think it's more like: as another comment pointed out, they were hand picked for this team. inferred this from their low-energy appearances from early on. ie they probably didn't understand what they were getting into at first
they are personally my favourite Japanese group of all the time. with each of the members being so awesome together, making their music so good. that they bring so much musical talent worldwide with them.
My RUclips algorithm found this band for me......they are a hard working and unique musical group. Having seen many videos, they are a very good representative of the Japanese spirit. A good, clean musical sound - keep up the music.
Some really good questions, well done people! 0:27 Will there be a new EP or album coming in 2024? 0:43 Where did you play your first gig as AG! 1:27 In what order did you meet each other? AG has always been free and innocent like a child. Even now, the girls seem to be having fun and are able to relax. Thank you to everyone who watches over these girls as they are😊
I have great admiration for AG doing so much in English. Mizyu did very well indeed with her pronunciation. Suzuka's leaf stuff didn't add much to the video and AG were too coy about their origins, but that's what they always do. I think we all know that they are a creation of Asobisystem and probably met in an agency dance studio or conference room, but I would like to know how much creative input they had in the early days...I get the feeling that it was more than most agency groups. The stuff about the tension of being an individual within a group in Japan was interesting. Overall, AG were delightful. I got into them after Prof. Hartley's YT posting about Otona Blue, so about 3 years ago and it's been amazing to see them grow in popularity. It looks like AG have a shot at becoming one of Japan's biggest musical exports so congrats to them, 88rising and Asobisystem.
My feelings exactly. I half suspect that their odd hesitation about sharing their "Avengers" moment is because they were hand-picked by the Asobisystem managers and their afraid that revealing that will make people question how real their friendship is. Suruka, the de facto leader, has real acting ability - imagine if people started saying they were just another manufactured quartet pretending to be "real". If I was in their shoes I'd just say we met while in that event and talent management organization, which is almost certainly the truth, and decided to do something new. Regardless of how "produced" they are it would be truth enough for the fans. I've heard it said that their still somehow connected to Asobisystem as well although I don't know if that's actually who manages them. Their might be some kind of delicate situation regarding creative rights, licensing and so on happening behind the scenes. All I know is that whichever J-pop newshound finally uncovers that story will become a legend.
@@Racistobama They are definitely an Asobisystem group as they are on their website. They signed with 88rising to break into the US and international markets.
The difficult part of reading English is that English vowel sounds are not consistent. In Japanese, "a" is always pronounced "ahhh." In English, it can be "ehhh," "ahhh," "ae" (as in cat). I saw Mizyu trying to pronounce "bug" in another video. She started off saying "booog" as "u" is always pronounced "ooo" in Japanese. Someone off camera told her it means "mushi."

Apparently Mizyu is also the group's English translator
Yeah, her English has improved WAY quicker than the rest of them from what I can tell.
I'm not sure about that. I think they probably have translations in there to help them out.

lucky! i want to meet them so bad. Was it after a concert or just in the wild?
you said on stage, so after a concert, lol.
@@ElRealPetChicken You were able to meet them briefly before the show.
I saw them in Brooklyn last November. They were great. I love that they are now learning English. They are just a "breath of fresh air".
they way they were so done with people asking about the origins of AG LOL
I really, really wonder why that is. I've never seen an idol group so dead-set on protecting their "origin story". They almost certainly met through ASOBISYTEM..why don't they just say that?
Yeh cos they dont have one. They all individually auditioned for some big idol organization and were the best performers
