thank you so much Doug. We are humbled you watched our show. Your shop is truly awesome and I highly recommend anyone to subscribe to your channel. Take care.
It’s so nice to have things neatly organized in the shop! You guys have done a great job with that! I struggle with the “Need to organize so I can work more efficiently in my shop, but have too many projects going on and no time to organize” mentality haha! Happy New Year guys!
Nice little shop. Very well organized. If you have space on one of the outside walls, you can add a "closet/shed" attached to the wall and pipe in the dust collection. To soundproof it, you can use an inexpensive rigid-type foam board. "Design, Build, Execute" channel shows how to build and install such a shed. The only addition to this system I would suggest, take a piece of sheet metal and cut a hole in the middle of it the same diameter as the pipe going thru the wall. Cut it in half going right down the middle of the hole. Then mount it to the shed side of the wall, each half going around the pipe until the two sides meet. This will prevent mice from getting into the wall and insulation and possibly into the shop itself. Part 1- ruclips.net/video/2h59_pD3T7M/видео.html Part 2- ruclips.net/video/K0B9WF9nRS0/видео.html April Wilkerson's video- ruclips.net/video/OfrXIiJyqkQ/видео.html April Wilkerson explains how the dust collector can suck out heat from a heater or the cool from an air conditioner and how to properly pipe it. She has a large system for her shop, but the same principle applies to any system piped to the outside. Best of Luck!
