Keegan Bradley excites me as captain. i like his appreciation for the history of the Ryder Cup.
We need Dechambeau and Brooksy - it’s USA vs Europe not PGA Vs LIV
Keegan's a sharp guy. After only 2 days of being announced Ryder cup captain he literally gave the perfect interview. Nothing cliche. Very precise, yet thorough.He laid out a very good plan and he somehow managed to say all the right things while being very genuine. That's not an easy thing to do.
Keegan handled these stupid questions from these two with class. Bravo

For sure also Brooks who won there. DJ is debatable (was 2nd that year) if he starts playing well again - but for sure this golf course suits him well on paper. As European, I have to say I fear Keegan’s as captain. He will sth different which is interesting. Excited!

I LOVE this!! He bleeds USA. Best captain in a very long time if not ever. Was heartbreaking that he earned his spot last year and got overlooked. Now he’s here to lead them back to victory after what was a complete embarrassment last year.
Guy’s got a lot of heart and passion for this, and perhaps not a small chip on his shoulder too. Feels like this is going to be *America’s* Ryder Cup team.
He needs to emulate Paul Azinger whose team whacked the Euros back in 2008. Check out Azinger's book, "Cracking the Code" where he describes how he organized and motivated his team and, hopefully, he does the same thing. Maybe, he can name Zinger an assistant captain?🙏

I love the pick. I think too much emphasis is put on the captain honestly, but I think this is a step in the right direction. Too much has been made about the pod system, and things like that. If the players don’t show up and play well nothing matters. I think Keegan will bring a passion and fervor that will get these guys fired up to play.
KEEGAN can pick himself as playing Captain.

They know he deserved to be on the team last year, but wasn't in the club.
Agreed, Speith and JT both got the nod but Keegan got passed over. I hope Speith and JT get the chance to be passed over this time as they were both unmitigated disasters last time.
He should add Phil as a vice captain with his wealth of knowledge and the way he helps prepare younger players. Look to LIV players as well and do not just follow PGAT players as the Ryder Cup is not associated with the PGAT. There are some really great players on LIV that will lend to the team.
Phil on the team would be a pretty big distraction.

Keegan will do the job; he can totally handle it. i guess i just don't understand the process. the PGA can just call someone up and say "You're It!", without courting them or anything? i mean, did Keegan even put his name in the hat to be a candidate? i can think of a ton of players that just would have said, No.

They should have picked somebody with a true leadership experience than this "different" approach which is nothing more than just taking a chance, using Keegan as a scapegoat for the PGA Tour's shortcomings in losing great players to LIV

What "shortcomings"? Those players left for easy money and less work. Other than DeChambeau, which of them has been consistent in the majors? LIV players made a choice, there are consequences for choices.

He NEEDS Bryson and Brooks and maybe another 1 or 2 from LIV as LIV fosters team achievement, something the PGAT doesn't have on a week to week basis. I also hope he gets Paul Azinger as an assistant captain as Zinger's team whacked the Euros back in 2008. Zinger also wrote a book on how the team was built, "Cracking the Code," and I hope Keegan has a copy and has read it. I want to see the Euros, especially little smarta$$ Rory, totally humiliated. Tell the PGA Tour players that the top 12 point earners are going to play. Play your ass off to be on the team. Play Bethpage Black several times to be ready and play practice rounds with potenial team members ! No old boy network . No screwup by the team captain like usual .
Thank goodness you arent the captain. Your terrible plan leaves Bryson off the team. Brooks, whose won at Bethpage, and is a Top25 player, would also be left off.
Both Bryson and Brooks know they are not on the team and won't be what a waste of Talent for the USA team
If the USA can't win the 2025 Ryder Cup without the LIV golf players, the USA team should bow out.
