Hi Rod. I am enjoying these Bohol Videos as I have never been there. Haha lucky for me I don't drink Coffee but nice of that man on the Bike to show you the way. Have a great evening Rod 🙂👍
Thanks Pete. There are areas of the Philippines, like Bacolod City, where brewed coffee is popular with Filipinos also, but most of the places I travel one has to settle for the 3 in 1 instant coffee.
Another good video.(No surprise their) I am headed back to the Philippines relatively soon and intend to use your videos as a guide to help me get around Bohol.
This week trip around Bohol was interesting and I told my gf that I would be "working" on video much of the time also. I like to explore and pass along new information as I find it Will. Safe travels.
Great little town. Been there hundreds of times. It's pronounce too-BEE'-gen by the way. I love the new stores they put up there too. We live just 25 Klm away in Catigbian. You went through there if you came up from Tagbilaran City, along with Balilihan and Corella. My wife is from Catgibian and we have a house there too.
@@AmazingPhilippines1 We're in our home in the states right now but our family says it's OK there. Naturally, they buy drinking water but the barangay has a new system running now, so they're OK
Phonetically say Two-Big-On for Tubigon, Bohol. You can really see the lights of Metro Cebu at night from their Pier. I'm from Cebu but we spend summer in Tubigon or Buena Vista. My family has good friends over there. It's going to be next to become a city in the province of Bohol due to its progress and development.
Proceed to Eco Farm in Bogtongbod and Sagbayan Peak, how to get there, from Tubigon headout to Clarin then when u see a sign Sagbayan, turn right and keep going till u see the sign of Baranggay Bogtongbod, ask the locals about the Eco Farms. It is owned by the owner of Alona Beach in Panglao. Then the next village is San Agustin where Sagbayan Peak is located.
I should have done a little more research and planned for a couple of more days on Bohol Randy. 7 days wasn't quite long enough to see everything but we enjoyed the trip.

There are three pension houses in Tubigon. TMR pension house. Dross gold pension house. Lagayas pension house. All have room from 500 up too 900 a night. Alturas has malls all over Bohol and owns Colonnade supermarkets in cebu and mandaue.
Thanks for that info Paul. I just shopped at Colonnade in Mandaue City yesterday. I tried to take a little video and security said that it is not allowed.
Good video Rod. I suggest that if you look for a place to settle in the Philippines, Look for a place that has elevation and drainage. I'm not talking about storm drains. I mean someplace within a few hundred meters where it drops off so you might be surrounded temporarily by a great inland sea but you probably won't have more than a few inches of standing water where you live. Don't count on storm drains. My ground floor apartment that I have now is at least 15 feet or 5 meters above the nearest paved road 80 meters away. No large amount of water is going to accumulate around my apartment and I'm certain I'm not going to get flooded. Elevation should be high on your want list for long term accommodation.
Good point Robert. I was just reading about flooding in the USA and was involved in sandbagging in our little town in Minnesota while in high school. Many people don't think about this issue. Tsunami is also a potential risk out here in the pacific ocean.
@@AmazingPhilippines1 I don't think you need worry that much about Tsunami in Cebu Rod.
