In the Netherlands we know how to turn every occasion into a national festival. Oh, yes, orange because of Willem van Oranje Nassau, founder of Holland
The founder of the Netherlands was William of Orange (also called William the Silent) in the 16th century. By birth he was also Prince of Orange. Orange is a region in France. That is the origin of the colour orange.
It may seem like he is just a clown, but actually that man, Rob Kemps, is very intelligent and has a broad interest. I'm in Southern California and discovered Snollebollekes while watching stage 19 of the 2019 Tour de France. The Beef Eaters, a group from the UK, were roadside on the climb to the Galibier, dressed in their red "guards of the Tower of London uniforms, leading a group of spectators to the song Linchs Recht. ruclips.net/video/hP6WGSDbCgA/видео.html I liked the music, figured out what the song was and fell in love with this guy. One of the best performers I have even seen in my 74 years. Through countless RUclips searches I was able to find a cornucopia of other great Dutch artists: Jan Biggel, the Lawineboys, Alpensjuses, Goebroeders Ko,...and on and on. I love this stuff; it was all I listen to until recently when I discovered my now favorite artist, South Africa's Snotkop.
Color orange is because the last name of our royal family is 'oranje' (means orange). Song is done by artist 'Snottebollekes' with song 'even tot hier' (some moment here) which is actually a ode song to teachers. 'Snottebollekes' is a pseudonym for small children with a snotty nose which comes from the expression 'snotneuzen' (snot nozes) meaning young people that still needs to learn in Dutch saying.
The orange color is a nod to the royal family, which is made up of members of the House of Orange. This dates back to 1544 when William of Orange inherited the estate Orange in France. Almost all national sportteams use it, solely or in combination with red, white and blue.
The name Snollebollekes is funny in itself. Naughty, a bit on edge but positive, just like most of the texts. 'Snol' means promiscuous woman, in a bad way, but by adding 'bollekes', which means 'little heads', you make small and cute and not so bad. At ghe beginning he says 'Springen Nondeju' which means 'Jump Goddammit! Again, people could take offence, but he does it in such a way that it's fun. Most texts are on the edge of what is appropriate, but I think that is what gives power to these songs, and why people like them. I think it gives the people a feeling of breaking free from a dull daily life.
What he sings is not 'swinging on the juice', but 'springen nondeju'. Springen means to jump, this survives in English as well as a spring will cause stuff to jump on release. Nondeju is basically a basterdized version of 'nom de dieu', which is French for 'name of God', of course used in a way the English also have when they use this as a power term, like 'for God's sake'. So a proper translation would be 'jump, for God's sake'. Obviously, the crowd proceeds to perform the command, because the Dutch love set pieces like this. More impressive set pieces are Snollebollekes - Links Rechts and De Staat - Witch Doctor where Dutch crowds perform mass movements.
Springen nonderju. Springen means Jumping (spring = jump) Nondeju is used in brabant (southern province above belgium) a lot where they all say it as a power term like God damn it. Its origin comes from the frech term "au nom de dieu".
"Nondejus" is a Dutch expression that can be roughly translated to "Donnerwetter" in German. Both expressions are used to convey surprise, frustration, or annoyance, somewhat similar to the English "damn" or "gosh." In Dutch, "nondejus" is a mild expletive derived from "nondeju," which itself is a euphemistic contraction of "nom de Dieu" (French for "name of God"). Over time, it has become part of colloquial Dutch speech, especially in expressions of astonishment or irritation. Similarly, "Donnerwetter" in German literally means "thunder weather" but is used idiomatically to express amazement or frustration, making it a fitting counterpart to "nondejus." So, when a Dutch person says "nondejus," a German person might understand it as "Donnerwetter," both capturing a sense of mild exasperation or surprise.

The orange is from the first king, Willem from Orange Nassau (Willem van Oranje) Orange is the place where he got the tittle of prince, that made him later tittled to be a king. To make it complete, Orange is a small place in France 😂 He was born in Germany (Dillenburg) and Count of Nassau-Dillenburg and prince of Orange. He was later murderd in the Netherlands, in Delft. The Dutch also made the carrot Orange. ;) nl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orange_(Frankrijk)
Congratiolations! Now you know Snollebollekes finally! The Orange colour is from our Kings family name " " of Orange" is his last name. This video was from a Kingsday. Snollebollekes yells: " all jump...damm".. he uses always a sort of strong language. But never vulgar. He is from the south of the Netherlands ans sings with a strong southern accent. "The soft g". He is worldfamous in The Netherlands for years and inventor of the left right dance. In the Left Right he sings: welcome in the party tent, its a pity of the attic, but the roof will come off... all of us to the left and the right, the whole tent is being rebuild. Its amusing to see the comments of the German people, after seeing the Dutch dance in Hamburg. The German are complety fascinated bij Left Right and also a sort of "jealous" not having that kind of national party anthum.. Its indeed very catchy and inviting. An earworm .... 😅 It's nice to see the matches but it's also very nice to dive under in the good vibes of the fanscrowds. Watching it on youbtube etc.
Dear teacher Paul The reason why we love football so much is because we Dutch people love Dutch football so much. We love football very much. And we always want to make it a fun party. The orange scent is not harmful to you, but it does give a thick smell so you can't see anything. The famous football player you know is Ruud Gullit from 1988. We became European champions then. With Marco Van Basten and Johan Cruijff. Bro, you have made a good, nice summary of the Netherlands - France match. You are absolutely right about the disallowed goal. I think we will win the European Cup. Good luck with your channel and have fun with the EUROPACUP. GREETINGS AND PEACE MICHAEL
We have in the Netherlands the flag : red/white/blue. This we use in our countrie and diplomatic. But our Kingdom is the House of Van Orange Nassau. We in the Netherlands go in Orange by: - Kingsday ( whole countrie) a free day and one big party - F1 Max Verstappen - European allsports - World all sports - Olympic all sports Then we have also Orange flags, Orange flags with the lion, all for courage, strenght and pride.
Proud to be dutch, Your question about the the Oranje flag, this is the answer Historically, the Dutch flag has had the colors orange, white, and blue. The orange color was gradually replaced by red, and the white and blue come from the Principality of Orange. Nowadays, the orange pennant above the flag is only used on birthdays of the Royal Family. The Netherlands is the only country in the world that sometimes adjusts its national flag
The House of Orange is our monarchy, that is why orange is the color of the Dutch... The reason why most people only know of the exsitence of orange carrots is because of the Dutch influences. We have the colors of the flag but we share these colors with many other countries. The orange is quite specific in that way.

Why do the Dutch wear orange and not red, white and blue? Willem (Dillenburg, April 24, 1533 - Delft, July 10, 1584), Prince of Orange, Count of Nassau-Dillenburg, better known as William of Orange or under his posthumous nickname William the Silent, was a statesman and army commander who played a key role in the unleashing of the Eighty Years' War and the foundation of the resulting Republic of the Seven United Netherlands. Previously, he was in the service of the ruler against whom this war had started as a rebellion, the Spanish king Philip II. Orange had started his career with his father, Emperor Charles V. In the Netherlands he is known as the Father of the Fatherland. His original name is Wilhelm. Willem is his Dutchest name. The name William of Orange came about because he inherited the title Prince of Orange in 1544. Part of one of his mottoes was Je maintiendrai (French for 'I will maintain'), which was enshrined in the coat of arms of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The national anthem of the later state of the Netherlands has been named after him since 1932: the Wilhelmus. Dutch sports teams have worn orange nationally since the twentieth century, which can be traced back to his title of Prince of Orange. Most of the melodies that are sung (and danced) in the parade are variations on Carnival songs, which were originally in the southern Netherlands but are now generally an annual folk festival. The texts are parodies of current events or/and adapted as desired to the type of local, national or international event.
William of Orange (not that guy who later became King of England) was the first freedom fighter in the Netherlands. Under his leadership, the Dutch fought against Spanish rule for eighty years. Unfortunately, William of Orange never lived to see Dutch independence, because he was murdered prematurely on the orders of the Spanish king. The national Orange color comes from his name. The Dutch flag originally consisted of orange, white and blue. At that time, the Netherlands was a major seafaring nation that traded all over the world. The orange stripe in the flag was not always clearly visible at sea. That is why the orange stripe was replaced by a red one over time. This resulted in the flag that we still fly to this day. (and which we are very proud of) The music performance of the Snolle bollekes was recorded during King's Day. A national holiday where we celebrate the birthday of King Willem-Alexander. On that day, almost everyone is dressed in Orange.
Springen nondeju = Jump! nondeju. Nondeju is a curse, in French and means: in the name of god. Nom de dieu. Orange is the color of the House of Orange, the Dutch royal family.
The first King of The Netherlands was called Willen van ORANJE thats why the color orange is connected to the Netherlands. Springen nondeju means come on jump now..!!

Orange = The name of the Royal Family: 'van Oranje'. That is why an orange pennant hangs on the flagpole when, for example, it is a family member's birthday.
the sanger is Rob Kemps front man of the group Snollebollekes
The singer is from the Southof the Netherlands
he is from best netherlands
the first song they sing is called 'springen nondeju' (jump nondeju) (nondeju is an exclamation of impatience used in the east and south)
Snollebollekes
Yes I'm in
So just call the psychotherapist
Because the fuses blow
It ends in a madhouse
It's going to be a party
Like there never was one

Yes, all of us
We're going down, down, down (3x)
We're going down, low, low, low, low
And slowly up again (3x)
Jump nondeju!
Jump nondeju!
And now nondeju are singing!
It is a night
As even Guus didn't expect
The whole floor full of bottles
And you moped in the canal
That doesn't matter because you only live once
So take a shot at your panty
Nondeju there he goes again
We're going down, down, down (3x)
We're going down, low, low, low, low
And slowly up again (3x)
Jump nondeju
Jump nondeju
And now nondeju sing
Stop
And through the knees down
Slowlyslowly

Slowlyslowly
And all down again
Slowlyslowly

But just a little bit different!
Go wild with the Snollebollekes!
Clap those hands!
Oh, that's going to be a mess again!
Now pay attention!
Welcome to the marquee
Just be nice, ma'am
It's a shame about the attic
But the roof is coming off
Chopping, pounding, jumping
The cabin goes crazy
All from left to right
The tent that is being destroyed
All from left to right
The tent that is being destroyed
All from left to right
The tent that is being destroyed
To the left!
To the right!
One more time!
To the left!
To the right!
Oh, what a party!
Come on, come on, come on, come on!
Shall we do another round?
Pleasant!
Keep filling the glasses
With even more alcohol
We can't be contained anymore
Fill the ladies up nicely
Sit, hang, lie down
That's not how we got married
All from left to right
The tent, which is being renovated (What did you say?)
All from left to right
The tent, which is being renovated (Yes!)
All from left to right
The tent that is being renovated To the left!
Oh yes, to the right!
Nondeju, that's going well!
To the left!
And once more to the right!
Yes!
I'm going all cuckoo!
Party!
Sing!
Oh, that could be a bit faster, couldn't it?
Sing, jump!
Yep, there it goes!
Welcome to the marquee
Just be nice, ma'am
It's a shame about the attic
But the roof is coming off
Chopping, pounding, jumping
The cabin goes crazy (Yes!)
All from left to right
The tent that is being crushed (Yoohoo!)
Keep filling the glasses
With even more alcohol
We can't be contained anymore
Fill the ladies up nicely
Sit, hang, lie down
That's not how we got married (Yes!)
All from left to right
The tent, which is being renovated (Yoohoo!)
Does there have a defibrillator here, or no one?
God, nondeju!
Nondeju is a bastardisation of the French 'nom de Dieu', which means 'name of God', as in Jehova.
If you'd like to see how the Dutch shake the earth?? Check Defqon1 2017 - crowdcontrol - left to right...thats how WE do it....😂😂
We also listen to very good music, but this for a party and always works, a lot of beer, and you dance like crazy hahaha
And the red in our flag used to be orange it was changed in the 19th century
The flag isn't orange, the flag is red white and blue. The royal house's color and name is orange. You'll often see orange being flown separate with the official dutch flag as a little add-on flag.
And the event is due to the Euro championship soccer.
hello , these are the lyrics translate to English

Dan schrijf dit eens goed op in het Engels . Dit is niks .
Type crazy dutch fans and you will see. F1 is just as crazy and fun to watch
This is not in Germany, it was recorded on April 27, when we celebrate the king’s birthday, called Koningsdag (king’s day) Nice clip though.
The orange is from the first king, Willem from Orange Nassau (Willem van Oranje)
Orange is the place where he got the tittle of prince, that made him later tittled to be a king.
To make it complete, Orange is a small place in France 😂
He was born in Germany (Dillenburg) and Count of Nassau-Dillenburg and prince of Orange.
He was later murderd in the Netherlands, in Delft.
The Dutch also made the carrot Orange. ;)
nl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orange_(Frankrijk)
I am Dutch and we sing this song already eight years .
Some people say the Dutch are down to earth 🥲🍊🦁🧡
De postmoderne klompendans van Nederland. Got to love it.

It's nice to see the matches but it's also very nice to dive under in the good vibes of the fanscrowds. Watching it on youbtube etc.
1:40 our royals last name is orange of Nassau. William of orange revolted against the Spanish creating the Netherlands. So orange is our royal colour.
and finally he made an german version
Dear teacher Paul
The reason why we love football so much is because we Dutch people love Dutch football so much.
Thank you, Michael!
We have in the Netherlands the flag : red/white/blue.
This we use in our countrie and diplomatic. But our Kingdom is the House of Van Orange Nassau.
We in the Netherlands go in Orange by:
- Kingsday ( whole countrie)
a free day and one big party
- F1 Max Verstappen
- European allsports
- World all sports
- Olympic all sports
Then we have also Orange flags, Orange flags with the lion, all for courage, strenght and pride.
They are the Family of Orange. It stems from the royal family.
Kingsday in the Netherlands
Long live Brabant!!
The Netherlands is the only country in the world that sometimes adjusts its national flag
jump god dammit it means
Fun fact: Nondeju stems from nom de jesu/naam van jezus.
Used to curse, in the same way as goddammit.
The House of Orange is our monarchy, that is why orange is the color of the Dutch...
The reason why most people only know of the exsitence of orange carrots is because of the Dutch influences.
We have the colors of the flag but we share these colors with many other countries. The orange is quite specific in that way.

Does there have a defibrillator here, or no one?
God, nondeju! (local curse in the southern provinces of the Netherlands which is intended as encouragement)
ORANGE ❤❤❤😂😂🎉🎉🎉
Did you know the singer loves French Chansons most! Did i spell the word Chanson correct?
ORANJE 🧡🧡🧡
William the 3rd I think. House / king of orange

FRANCE GIFE UP
swinging on the juice, is wrongly translated. He sings "damn Jump, damn Jump"
Springen nondeju = Jump! nondeju. Nondeju is a curse, in French and means: in the name of god. Nom de dieu. Orange is the color of the House of Orange, the Dutch royal family.
This was not in Deutschland, this was on king's day in the Netherlands, you used the wrong vootage /clips 😅
yes he is very famous
But what are the lyrics?
Subtitles in the video are not correct....

So, no one is going to explain what Snollebollekes means?????? 😂
Spini g god demi g
By the way 'this is completely nuts'. The generation is degenerating.
Thnx for the massive orange support you give the Netherlands 🇳🇱 🧡🙏
The guy is Rob Kemps, singer of Snollebollekes. Actually I, like many thought he was some simpleton because of his music. Then, a few years ago, he won the TV quiz series of ‘De Slimste Mens’ (the smartest person), competing against journalists, politicians etc.
