- Tarja performing "Swanheart" from her ex- band "Nightwish" with Mike Terrana and Choir of State Opera from Plovdiv in the Roman amphitheatre of Plovdiv.
This song, as many of others, is great. But in Tarja`s voice it becames a dream.
Every day she is getting more and more beautiful!!
It must have been a great concert!!
I'm so glad she's still singsing Nightwish songs... she's the only voice magical enough to give life to Tuomas' masterpieces.

Since I've seen the From Wishes To Eternity DVD this song was one of my all time favorites from Nightwish...goosebumps everywhere whenever I hear it..if only there would be a cd quality version of this one...

1) These songs are a part of her history, a part of her work, a part of herself

@viikatee the answer is so easy! because all we want to listen the old nightwish's songs by the original voice of this era :)
No bass makes the orchestra sound thin and weak. Drummer stood out too much but he was very good. I have to say the Nightwish recording was much better even w/o the full orchestra but I'm glad Tarja has the money to pay an orchestra. :)
Tarja is in my Top Three singers with Jackie Evancho and Mirusia Louwerse.

Not my favorite song, but I do love when Tarja sings songs back from when she was in NW.
I think that I'm drowning in my tears. For the love of god, this woman it's the same heaven. And this song, with the choir behind her, the orchestra and the powerfull Mike... it has born again. Tuomas, thank you so much for this incredible song, and Tarja... I have no words for you... you're paradise.

Why is she using a different mic than the one she uses for opera? Why doesn't she use her opera voice for the song? I can still hear that awkward breathing that she does.
MetalPersonJ because one is for classical singer voices and the other for popular singers. You can see that in Andrea Boceli, Sarah Brightman, Alessandro Safina and other crossover opera singers

Ok its not a drama about nightwish....The drum part didnt enter correct ...listen to another version of the song...Because Tarja lives and breaths for music , she was sad about this error (not with Mike...generally sad ) But the support from people made her emotional so she gave it all and ofc when the drums should have entered she shows the support to Mike, with her hand and etc!!

@teamxbeen It's true... Nightwish was the best part of her life ... and when she sings nightiwsh songs she reminds herself what it was and that why ....
@Wronglen Seeing her live was sad especially when her band played old nightwish songs... Its kind of like you go to a place you loved when you were a kid and 15 years later you vist it again and its not the same. It may bring back memories but that magic that was there as a kid just isn't.. its quite sad actually lol. That what it was like seeing her sing wishmaster there just wasn't that passion that you here on the from wishes to eternity cd to technical not enough emotion.
Please, Tarja, this isn't a jolly feel good song to just sing through. Great to see she enjoys herself but she could even pretend to be serious while singing a song like this.
