It's not a carbon tax on pollution as much as it is a carbon tax on consumers. Meanwhile - corporate polluters have been given tax breaks and bursaries for a century, without needing to clean up. Plus - our "Carbon Tax" which immediately hurts every sector of Canada - is insignificant towards positively affecting climate change. The US and Mexico don't have a carbon tax. Canada emits 2% of their totals. China doesn't have a carbon tax. They are building a coal mine about every week for its 2 billion people. There is no logic to it.
It's a scam. Just like the Netherlands - a farming powerhouse - radically shutting down their farms, putting a hurt on food production and the entire country, Canada imposing a money grab on Canadians with no provable results is just meant to make people suffer. Control, with side deals.

We've had heat waves in June for as long as I've been around. Most seniors would agree that during their high school days studying for exams. BTW there was NO air conditioning in the schools like today and many many more students in these schools.

In light of OVER Spending, gross stupidity, and downright idiocy that the public has had to put up with this past 9 years, its time to give Citizens more power, Government representatives should have wages cut in half and and they should work 5 days a week like everyone else for those half wages. I just perused the liberals climate plan......there's a lot of "programs" and "use tools" and "work with partners" but I didn't see anything on how they're actually gonna lower emissions.
