Wow! Another very obscure television series from the 1950s! 🙂
In later syndication {the episodes not sponsored by H.J. Heinz}, repeats were titled "FOREIGN LEGIONNAIRE".
Looks like Buster Crabbe needed some quick cash when he did this hokey tv show. May have been filmed in Italy.
On the contrary- Buster made a considerable amount of money from this series (it lasted 65 episodes over two seasons). He filmed it in Morocco and Italy, and was able to work his son "Cuffy" into it.
Correct..it was a very popular, and profitable, series.
