- Welcome friends! Today, we are sharing a different type of video, a husband and wife Q & A. We share more about our family and answer many of your questions.
Here are the questions we answered:
- How old are we?
- How did we meet?
- How long have we been married?
- More about our families, siblings, where we grew up, school and college, etc.
- Why did we move to Florida?
- Does Sergi like to cook?
- What does Sergi do for a living (career)?
- Do we have family in FL?
- Would we consider moving to another state and if we would, where?
- What's the next home project?
- What made us decide to homeschool our children, curriculum, plans for future schooling (We really dived into this one!)
- Do we eat leftovers? How many times a week do I cook?
- What was the most difficult time in our marriage? How do we stay close as as a couple while going through hard times? Keeping a positive outlook during challenges and tough seasons in life?
- Health challenges, infertility, loss, high risk pregnancies, etc.
- Social media and family.
Thanks for everyone who submitted the questions. We hope you enjoyed this video and got to know us better. It was such a pleasure to film it together for you. Thanks for spending time with us and watching the video.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful story. This brings tears to my eyes because I relate so much. I also went through a health battle after I married my husband. That season brought us closer to the Lord and strengthened our marriage. May our Father continue to bless your family and be a light in this world. You have a beautiful soul 🩷
Health battles are so hard but are life changing in many good ways too. Thank you for sharing and taking the time to write. I wish you all the best!
Thank you for sharing this. You two are such an encouragement to me. I have followed you for years. Such a loving genuine family!
Thanks for being here! I appreciate the encouraging words:).
I love this video!!!! But yes!!!! I totally agree about how homeschool allows us to spend so much time together as family and seeing the kids bong with one another is so special!!!!!!!!
That’s the best part of homeschooling:). I’ll always look back at doing schoolwork, going to the library, all the projects and crafts and be so grateful to have had my children right next to us and each other.
Great video ❤ I like how you talked about the privacy thatsva great thing . Not everyone need to know everything 😊
Exactly! Thanks for taking the time to write. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Came across your channel when looking up food processor videos. Love y’all’s story! Thank you for sharing.
Welcome, Cindy! Thank you for the kind words.
I love watching this! Your body language and how comfortable you are with each other was so adorable to watch
Thank you so much!
Great video, very well-done. Really enjoy your cooking videos, good and wholesome food. Thank you very much for sharing.
Thank you so much!
Only just seeing this one. My husband started having health issues in 2022 that turned our lives upside down. Today, we are not where we thought we’d be at this point in our lives, but he is improving and we have grown closer together and closer to God. We are so very grateful
You are so cute together !
Thanks:)
Thank you beautiful family for your testimony, and all of your recipes are delicious. May God bless your family.❤
Thank you!
Beautiful and hardly typical in this culture today.
I worked for the dept. of public instruction which oversees education from K to 12 in our state of NC. My wife teaches English Lit. From her experiences and from what I saw through the eyes of Education consultants, good teachers and the State Board -you may not one day fully appreciate it, but I assure you that your decision to homeschool was one of the best ideas of your life. I say that especially from the point of view of one who was brought up in the educational system of five countries, two European, two Western and my time in South Africa. Well done, for the sake of your families integrity and the educational and emotional upbringing of your two boys. Well done.
Услышав разговор, подписалась сразу! ❤
God apparently put you two together. Such h a lovely love story. May God continue to bless you. My husband & I will be celebrating our 50th anniversary on July 6th, 2024. Time does fly & it doesn't seem likeits been that long. I wish the same for you two.
Was SOOO excited to see a new video with you both!!!! Thank you for sharing 😊💕🌷
Hope you enjoyed it! We had so much fun filming it together.
I agree with you about social media. Do whatever good for your family, don't try to please everyone
I just finished this video. Had to break it up into a couple of days. 😂I agree with you 100% especially at the end, about social media and keeping your family life private. I got rid of my social media accounts in 2020 and never looked back. Even RUclips can be a huge distraction if not careful. I applaud you in your choices. This earthly home is nothing, compared to what is waiting for us in heaven. May God continue to give you wisdom and discernment and the courage to stand up against adversity! ❤
Love you guys!
Since I've just recently discovered this channel, I had no idea of the health issues that you've been dealing with over the yrs. I admire your faith, courage, and resiliency through the hardships. I'm really glad to hear that your family values are rooted in a biblical based Christian foundation. All the more reason to appreciate this channel😊
If God had a purpose in the most exquisite and unimaginable pain in human history, the pain of the cross, then He has a purpose in our pain as well. More progress is made in our spiritual pilgrimage thru tears & heartache, rather than thru bliss & laughter.
May God continue to bless your family, Sergi & Olga.🙏
I really enjoyed this conversation. Thank you for sharing 💜
You are so welcome.
I love your kitchen! Lovely choices in there.
Thank you so much!
I recognized the Good and the Beautiful math book I think 😊that your boys were using at the table. I use the good and the beautiful and love it.
❤❤❤love you guys ❤❤❤
hei , great vid we also always home schooled our two boys can you please do more videos on Home schooling? I'd been following you on and off since soon after our first son was born and he's 11 now!
That’a true that after like 30 yrs old, you forget about your age 😆 i turned 34 this year and I thought I was turning 33 until I subtracted my birth year from 2023 🙊 I guess we all feel a bit younger in our hearts 🤩
(I am homeschooling my kids for 3 yrs already..older finished 3rd grade youngest kindergarten. For same reasons as you guys. People called me crazy for doing it saying my kids won’t be sociable or behind..100% not true. In fact my kids doing better than public school kids I know. Every single person who called me out on it, is currently homeschooling their kids too 😅 )
Yes, it’s so funny how that happens as we get older:).
Homeschooling is becoming more and more known. It’s such a great option. I know it’s not for everyone, but I’m so thankful for the opportunity.
@@OlgasFlavorFactory believe me if anyone told me I would homeschool my own kids back when I was in school, I would think people are crazy 😅 in fact all the homeschooled kids I new were ‘different’ and they would chill all day not studying. All my siblings and me attended & graduated from public schools. Nowadays there are so many programs/sources for homeschooling, it’s amazing. It’s a complete new normal 😊
Amen to homeschooling 🙏
It was the best decision that our family made 2 years ago!!!
God bless you and your family Olga and Sergey 🙏😍
I fully agree.
I fully agree.
Mixing and socialising with other kids is very important at a young age....to help them make friends and gain some independence. Are you not depriving them of this by homeschooling?
They’re still socializing with lots of kids of all ages in many other situations. They get together with other homeschoolers, their own cousins and many church and local events with kids if all ages regularly. We don’t just sit at home all the time with only our family. I don’t post them with other children because I want to protect their privacy, but they get more than enough social interactions.

Can you share what eclectic curriculum you use?
Great video! Have you ever gone back to your motherland? Belarus? Are your grandparents in US too? I don't think you ever mentioned them.
Good question !
No, I never have, although I would love to someday. Only one of my grandfathers is still alive and he lives in NY, in the same area as my parents.
@@OlgasFlavorFactory I hope you will get a chance to travel to Belarus one day. It's a beautiful country.
What curriculum do you use?
I am interested also
They address this in the video. Their homeschooling perspective section begins around the 13:25 mark.
