I am in U.S.A now & both my PR card & passport got stolen & there is no way to recover them but i have my COPR document issued more than 2 years now,Drivers license & photo copies of passport & PR card.Also i am driving my own car registered under my name.would i be allowed to drive back to enter a land border without PR card & passport into Canada?please help

Hey, I was robbed while abroad, and lost my pr card, I have a scanned photo of my pr in my phone and I have my CoPr, and a police report that I was robbed, would this allow me to enter Canada? This is an issue that we’re seeing across the board. If you leave for Saudi, you need to have a PR card to board a plane directly back to Canada. If you have a US visa you can also enter at the border with just your COPRs.

I'm a US citizen and a permanent resident of Canada and my question to you is the following, is it still true that a US citizen can enter Canada by air with just their COPR document? I left without my PR card, but I do have my COPR document with me, but my CORP document do mention as well, that is not valid for travel. Your video is from three years ago and I just need to know if I can still enter Canada by air with just my COPR document since I don't have my PR card with me? Hope to hear from you soon.

If you are outside of Canada and your foreing passport and canada PR card was stolen, can you go back to Canada only with the PRTD or you need to get a new passport from your country of origin?

Buses are commercial vehicles and not privately rented/owned/borrowed by you. PTRD required.
Consider a taxi to drop you at the border and walk?

Probably, I would just ensure that she has a return ticket and some money in her bank account in case they ask how much she has on her.

Hi Nancy. Yes, you can leave Canada while your application is being processed. However, you must be sure you meet all the admissibility rules to be allowed back into Canada. If you don't meet travel exemption criteria (and/or you don't have the appropriate documents) and you're unable to return while your application is being processed, IRCC may determine that you abandoned your in-Canada application.

Hello. I received my COPR last year November 10 2021. I travel to Philippines last March 8 this year. But until now I haven’t received my PR card it’s almost 7 months. I’m planning to go back to Canada this July. Is there a way to go back with out my PR card?
You will need to apply for a PRTD (PR travel document) or, if you have a US visa, you can enter the US and cross with your signed COPR at the land border.

If you do not have your original COPR you won’t be able to get it, you’ll need to apply for a Permanent Resident Travel Document at a visa office abroad to be able to come to Canada.

@@JadeCalver I do have a Client copy that was given to me during my first landing 3 yrs ago. But it has a watermark that says, "not valid for travel" written across the document. This + my Ontario driver's licence+ work proof + hydro bills should suffice?

Hi. What if you dont have p.r card Printed yet but you still have your valid visa and valid work permit.... Do you still need a prtd when you already have a valid visa.
Your previous visas will be cancelled and you won’t be able to use them. You need a PRTD or a PR card to return as a permanent resident.
