There's a lot of fake 'gurus' on the internet. 'Wellness influencer', 'Joy coach', 'Happiness ambassador' I basically take to mean ''I'm unemployed and want you to fund my lifestyle''. They're often very good-looking, charming, manipulative and speak in riddles.

I think everyone deserves a second chance. Also I think this would even be counter productive and make the issue even worse. Because if you are a human trafficker and there is a risk of someone exposing you what holds you back from killing that person if you get the maximum senctence anyways.
She did her make up like that on purpose to make herself look crazy, don't be fooled. She is insane for sure, but she knows how to apply make up correctly, so this was done for extra affect.

Prison tattoos and prison makeup is an entire thing. My guess is that either a fellow prisoner did her "makeup", or she has had to use pencils for so long in jail that she's become used to seeing herself like this and doesn't realise she looks like a clown.
I'm 34. The best decision I've made for myself was to quit social media. Everything being scripted felt absurd, people around me "relating to" people with large followings and feeling validated by them scared me. I couldn't help but to see the cracks in the mirror. I'm glad I did.
I struggle with social media on a regular basis. So much deceptive, manufactured delusion. However, it’s nearly impossible to get any kind of message out to the masses without it. 😐

So she stayed awake for hours tending to Ms. torres and finally decided to ask for compensation? At no point did she mention she had to do this.

Yeah, I was really disappointed when a supposedly spiritual show on RUclips hosted a woman who is clearly just as much of a grifter, liar, scam artist as this lady, but ultimately, I decided that anyone who is willing to follow people who are that petty and shallow and clearly disingenuous deserves what they get.
You're looking at it the wrong way. The women she was coaching were looking for help bettering their lives and thought that asking someone who has already become successful would be the best route. It's like 'ask the expert' kind of thing. The spirituality came secondary to the success story, and was more of "I prayed to God and that's how I'm successful." The problem is they sought help from a scam artist who turned around and exploited them.
They were conditioned to not trust themselves and to live in a perpetual state of anxiety based on the belief that they can't make it on their own. They were conditioned to believe that they need someone else to tell them how to exist. She (and many other abusers) usually swoop in on those who are still realing from past abuse because they've already been groomed, hence the stereotype of serial victims.

Nah men, I followed her up for years. She actually started as a humor page that became viral with funny memes. It was called “coisasdakat” and it was quite harmless and goofy. Then she started to post about spiritually, self esteem and overall very positive things. She wasn’t this out of control mess. She looked perfectly kept, happy, kind, and her motivational videos or lives was the fuel to make her insta explode. All type of people would follow her over the spiritual motivational content, even guys commented on how it was helpful to them. A little after that she started to offer consultation as an online coach, which is a service that is still a thing. She was able to hold that facade quite well for years. It was only by 2018 that the problematic stuff started to appear in her Chanel’s, when she started to claim that her sessions could heal all kind of diseases, telling sick people to stop their medication and just do spiritual treatment with her and bash psychologists and doctors as stupid mafia that knows nothing and only wants your money. At this time on the background she was already exploiting people she had hired to work for her but no one came forward since they felt ashamed , terrified of her revenge and powerless. But the s3x exploration of her workers started years later, hyped by the impunity she got for so long and because she was fully spiraling into her insanity.
Yeah. But people with this condition are still humans. And it's not helpful to demonize them. This way you become what you reject in her. Those people are lessons for us. So stay open minded and learn. 💜🌹💫
It is interesting as it shows another aspect of 'us' - people who know that something is very wrong but feel the need to follow something, someone, anything to bring meaning (and fame and fortune!) to thier lives.
Young people will look there.. I'm sure you've made some silly mistakes like that too, I know I have. But take heart, At least these girls got relief. Many do not. Some are killed, some kill themselves. There are very very few survivors and fewer that learn to thrive after.

The simple truth is that no one knows, not even the smartest person on the planet. What is good for you is only something that you know, and the only way you can find this out is by learning to listen to your inner voice. If you learn to listen to this voice, and you learn to trust it, then you will know what's the right thing to do.

It's too easy to see goodness in bad people when you are blinded by their attractive physical qualities.

You're quite right, but sadly not all parents are able to bring their children up to be so, because of their own histories. It's part of the human condition and has been the same throughout history: and people believe what they want to believe. When you see something which looks attractive and full of possibilities, you believe it's true because you want to. It's what allows the con artists to con; they prey on one's desires.

I have seen people comment about the make-up. Here’s the deal: It looks like she previously had lip “blushing”, microblading and other types of semi permanent make-up (which normally looks great when freshly done). But it’s expensive to upkeep, and it has to be maintained. She hasn’t been able to get touch-ups in prison, so what you’re seeing is the uneven fading that happens when you stop doing it. Most people can use regular make-up to conceal the blotchiness during this process, but seeing as she’s in prison, that’s not an option.
I come from a marginalized community with a lot of trauma as well and it’s very easy for predators to exploit those types. If you were raised with a strong sense of self, self esteem, self preservation, safety, and support you’re very lucky. Trauma causes subtle brain damage and if you’re in poverty then these cult leaders are very seductive. When your inner world is pure chaos then someone who seems self assured and successful offering answers is like offering a buffet to a starving person. I’ve been there and I applaud these survivors for coming forward. ❤

You would think that most modern women would know now not to trust people like this and give them all the power over you but so many people STILL get sucked in. Narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths are often highly manipulative and are absolute experts at grooming victims (they've worked on it their whole lives). They seek out people in a place of vulnerability... however some seek out those with power too.

It's not an easy problem, social media. But in her case, as social media has been proven in court to be her modus operandi, I hope that the court orders for her to be banned from online will result in her being banned from social media platforms under her own name. Small consolation but any bit of difficulty for her to access any more potential victims is a plus.

She accuses people of lying and makes it clear she doesn't belong there. Actually, she deserves far worse! Her victims' lives may never be the same. I feel so sad for those she exploited.
I've never heard of her before, but it's sad how often this happens. I can't understand why people are so quick to give these individuals godlike powers. It's baffling how much blind faith people place in strangers, especially social media influencers.

There’s a “tarot reader” on RUclips who started just three months ago and is already getting over 10,000 views a day because he looks like a model. He’s likely in his early 20s and the comments from middle aged housewives are beyond nauseating. People are just insecure, gullible creatures but studying their pathology is fascinating.

My sister has narcissistic personality disorder (undiagnosed), and does all the psychedelics in therapy groups (ayahuasca and the others). This story reminds me of her (without the criminality). It's like all the narrative around psychedelics and what she "sees" is comforting her grandiose delusions about herself, it's pretty scary. It's like she has less and less limits with the substances. She's more intelligent than this Kat woman, so she's able to control or express her delusions in a way that appeals to people around her, who are more cultivated and level in their life than the girls who were Kat's victims. But she sees herself as a very evolved being, superior, incredibly spiritual, who saw Jesus etc, and boy is it tiring to be around such people who constantly preach their own word.

I wouldn’t even say narcissistic personality disorder. I would actually go a step further and say a female psychopath with narcissism. She is cold and calculating with a total lack of empathy, remorse and fear.
these americanized terms have been overused to the point of ridicule...you can call her whatever name you want to, but that's not the point. Even people with such traits can be aware enough to know when enough is enough. Clearly at one point she became too greedy and perhaps too clever for her own good. As her friend said, she could have taken advantage of the publicity she received with those DiCaprio pictures, move back to Brasil and build on her career. Knowing when to stop and not wanting too much is also a quality in a person.

Prison tattoos and prison makeup is an entire thing. My guess is that either a fellow prisoner did her "makeup", or she has had to use pencils for so long in jail that she's become used to seeing herself like this and doesn't realise she looks like a clown.
I'm 34. The best decision I've made for myself was to quit social media. Everything being scripted felt absurd, people around me "relating to" people with large followings and feeling validated by them scared me. I couldn't help but to see the cracks in the mirror. I'm glad I did.

Yeah, I was really disappointed when a supposedly spiritual show on RUclips hosted a woman who is clearly just as much of a grifter, liar, scam artist as this lady, but ultimately, I decided that anyone who is willing to follow people who are that petty and shallow and clearly disingenuous deserves what they get.
You're looking at it the wrong way. The women she was coaching were looking for help bettering their lives and thought that asking someone who has already become successful would be the best route. It's like 'ask the expert' kind of thing. The spirituality came secondary to the success story, and was more of "I prayed to God and that's how I'm successful." The problem is they sought help from a scam artist who turned around and exploited them.

She actually started as a humor page that became viral with funny memes. It was called “coisasdakat” and it was quite harmless and goofy.
Then she started to post about spiritually, self esteem and overall very positive things. She wasn’t this out of control mess. She looked perfectly kept, happy, kind, and her motivational videos or lives was the fuel to make her insta explode. All type of people would follow her over the spiritual motivational content, even guys commented on how it was helpful to them. A little after that she started to offer consultation as an online coach, which is a service that is still a thing. She was able to hold that facade quite well for years.
It was only by 2018 that the problematic stuff started to appear in her Chanel’s, when she started to claim that her sessions could heal all kind of diseases, telling sick people to stop their medication and just do spiritual treatment with her and bash psychologists and doctors as stupid mafia that knows nothing and only wants your money.
At this time on the background she was already exploiting people she had hired to work for her but no one came forward since they felt ashamed , terrified of her revenge and powerless. But the s3x exploration of her workers started years later, hyped by the impunity she got for so long and because she was fully spiraling into her insanity.

I have seen people comment about the make-up. Here’s the deal:
It looks like she previously had lip “blushing”, microblading and other types of semi permanent make-up (which normally looks great when freshly done). But it’s expensive to upkeep, and it has to be maintained. She hasn’t been able to get touch-ups in prison, so what you’re seeing is the uneven fading that happens when you stop doing it.
Most people can use regular make-up to conceal the blotchiness during this process, but seeing as she’s in prison, that’s not an option.

I come from a marginalized community with a lot of trauma as well and it’s very easy for predators to exploit those types. If you were raised with a strong sense of self, self esteem, self preservation, safety, and support you’re very lucky.

But in her case, as social media has been proven in court to be her modus operandi, I hope that the court orders for her to be banned from online will result in her being banned from social media platforms under her own name. What I didn't learn until ten years later, she had over the years transitioned into practising witchcraft, based on some of the teachings of her mother's mother. This woman, my ex-wife now, also isolated me by persuading me to surrender my other friendships one by one. People, don't let anyone do this to you.

these americanized terms have been overused to the point of ridicule...you can call her whatever name you want to, but that's not the point. Even people with such traits can be aware enough to know when enough is enough. Clearly at one point she became too greedy and perhaps too clever for her own good. As her friend said, she could have taken advantage of the publicity she received with those DiCaprio pictures, move back to Brasil and build on her career. Knowing when to stop and not wanting too much is also a quality in a person.
