👉The brilliant sand painter Alexandra Yerpylyova and Diana with her velvety voice. The two tell a touching true story here, Diana’s story: A lost little girl finds happiness in love with her wonderful mother. This is the most beautiful declaration of love a daughter has for her mother. This song makes me smile and cry at the same time... so touching.
The song is from Diana's first album (released 12/2021), written, composed and also produced by Brandon Stone.
Brandon stone and Diana have created a very, very beautiful song, so vulnerable, gentle and loving... The tears flow and flow... My mother passed away in August of 2021. I have already grandchildren, but I miss my mom so much.
* Brandon Stone (stage name), *1980 in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is an excellent jazz pianist, composer, poetry, singer and music producer.
At the age of three Brandon Stone took piano lessons. He won a song competition in his native Georgia in 1993. In 1997 he moved to Berlin to study jazz piano at the 'Hans Eisler' music academy in Berlin. After twenty years in Germany and some times in USA, now he lives in Russia with his wife and two children.
He is also a very good singer, has participated in many singing competitions with great success (New Wave 2005 Latvia, The Voice Germany 2012, The Voice Russian 2017.
His song “Magic Cristmas” became the number one Christmas hit in Spain in 2002 (age 22): ruclips.net/video/_tXBw-oPmqM/видео.html and even overtook the song Robbie Williams.
In 2005, Igor Krutoy personally asked him to compose and produce for the New Wave. (2005-2010)
Stone has already composed ca. 800 songs and sold around 2,000,000 records, mostly as a composer or lyricist, mainly in the former CIS countries. In Georgia (Europe) he is revered as a singer and artist, as a folk hero.
He has received many important national and international awards and prizes…
Stone has received many important national and international awards and prizes. In 2018-2020 he was nominated for the Victoria Prize (Similar to the Grammy. Dimash and Krutoy won the 2019 Victoria Prize).
Since 2019, Brandon Stone has worked extensively with Diana. Diana's first CD of songs composed and produced by Stone, released Dec 2021, was certified Gold in June 2022. (www)

The content is not as simple as it seems. Diana told the story of finding her family and dedicated a song to her mother.

Inspired by Diana's song art, Alexandra created this beautiful sand painting for the song "the closest soul" from Diana's new lyrical album "D.A.". This story, reproduced by Alexandra on the sand, is nothing but a meeting of two souls - Diana and her mother Irina. In fact, this song was written with an emphasis on this touching story from the life of Diana. Thank God, fate, chance, that everything turned out so well for this girl, happiness to her. One of Diana's more underrated songs. I love the triumphant story of love overcoming tragedy and despair. The artwork is brilliant.

In my opinion it is necessary to listen and watch this beautiful song and video of Diana a couple of times while focusing on the different aspects.
A first overall impression, the voice, the lyrics, the sand animation (which alone takes a few times to fully understand and appreciate the full story behind it in detail), the music arrangement and then putting it all back together.
So it takes at least 6 times, better maybe 10 times.
And in my opinion, it's worth every second.
This is my favorite song/video from Diana's album D.A. and in my opinion one of Diana's best (and most beautiful) songs and videos ever.

I think of this as being Diana's first self-authored song. Although, I don't know the extent her contribution. The song was her idea and she provided some sort of communication to Brandon Stone (the credited author). I don't know whether Diana provided only the idea, an outline, or a full text that Brandon cleaned up.
The song always causes me tears.
