- The Crosley Hotshot is a small but mighty vehicle. The brainchild of an appliance magnate, the Crosley is a refrigerator-size summer cruiser with a surprisingly successful motorsport record.

I find reviews of regular and special cars much more than those of rare supercars. Much more relatable.
Frog and Road - I see what you did there 🐸; the Frog and Toad books were among my favorite books when I was a kid.
This is a little beach car 😂
My dad’s friend had a crosley. When it was time to overhaul the engine the guy would take the engine to work with him and work on it on his desk over lunch hour.
So glad you brought up this car! underappreciated car - thanks!
During the early 1960’s Dad spotted a Crosley Hot Shot at a used car lot in the San Diego area. Dad expressed some interest in the car, but had to persuade himself to look at something different as the Crosley was not practical for a family car. In recent times I helped a gentleman restore a Crosley. He needed some wheels to make his project a roller. My shop sold trailer wheels. The 4.80 x 8.00 four lug wheels fit his Crosley perfectly. I never saw the finished product, but I know it’s out there somewhere.
Another great automotive history lesson! More please! I have an early Crosley refrigerator in my garage/workshop. Never serviced and still keeps the beer ice cold! Go Donald and Audrain, keep moving forward!
My family had Crossley Radios and refrigerators for a time.
I love the story of the car and the man behind it. His pionerring spirit improved so many of the successful products of the last centuary. Many thanks for shareing. Many of us remember the make from the Grand Tour episode.
This is definitely a Donald car 😅😂 congrats 👏 🙌 👍
The Vintage Radio & Communications Museum in Windsor, CT has a Crosley refrigerator with a radio where others have a freezer (factory original)..
Musical shelvador
Cool little ride, and thanks for the history of the car! Seems to make them more valuable in a way.
Such a joy to see your joy as you share your love for these wonderful cars!
Those floormats deserve their own episode.
Great movie Don. I'd love to see you and Leno again.
We just got back from filming with Jay - new episodes of Assess and Caress for his RUclips channel! And before you know it, we’ll have new episodes of Mansions & Motorcars
Too cute, and I love the color.
The Crosley was amazing on the last episode of the Grand Tour James May loved his.
This was very much a school day Donald . I must say l was rather bemused at the car but Mr. Crosley was a very astute business man indeed . Your little "Red Rooster" was a great looking racer indeed ! Thanks Donald
It looks like so much fun, poetry in motion one might say.
I didn't know any of that about Crosley!
Crosley reminds me of Henry Kaiser, who was into shipbuilding (Liberty ships!), dams, (Hoover Dam!), steel production, real estate development, TV broadcasting, hospitals, Jeeps, etc. He was like an Elon Musk of the 1940s! (Except he didn't stutter and bend the truth)
Yeah, I always admired Vanderbilt for making 2 fortunes. But he was just a slacker compared to those guys.
Very good, nice little car
Post war Some say.....
this was Bing's ;) favourite car!
Like if Hodaka made a car, thanks for showing I really didnt know about it.
Interesting car. Only on the Audrain. I would rather have one of these. Than a MG or a bug eye etc. Classic looks. Immaculate condition. Thanks Mr. O. ❤💙🧡😁👍😎
If you kiss it does it turn into a Ferrari?
We haven't tried yet, as our head detailer has forbid us!
The plane! The plane!
wow just have heard about the Hot Shot I think Frank Lloyd Wright owned one. Never seen one driving until now
🐸
Frog and Toad......lets hit the road. What should it be Frog and Road lets hit a Toad...Frog and Toad is correct.
No offence but what is that lol
