This is the beauty of traditional bandishes and of a traditional presentation and structure of gayaki. Gaana jhat se jam jaata hai. These young ladies are the leading lights now of the Gwalior-Agra tradition of Gajananbuwa.

I am grateful to you for expressing your feelings like this. Often I have felt this is a thankless job, but what keeps me doing this is an inner conviction that our classical music deserves to be preserved and propagated. Musicians will continue to do their job, listeners do not exactly grow on trees. My attempt is to create listeners, those who have taste, refined listeners. This attempt is sometimes not understood by the musicians themselves. It is alright, one viewer like you is enough, I stand vindicated.🙏

Have been listening to them for quite some time and am never tired. In fact am learning Hindustani Classical Vocal and listening to their Aalap helps me a lot in building up my Aalap. I would like to know if they have cut any CDs for the following Raagas : Bhupali, Bhairav, Vrindavani Sarang, Shankara, Yaman,Deshkar, Malkauns, Kalingada, Kafee and Gaud Sarang. Is there any plan of this great Singers performing in Mumbai, ofcourse after normalcy returns.Wish them all the best and enthrall us with their adorable voice.

I enjoyed the the way of presenting the raga and their pleasant stage presence. I understand they are first cousins and learnt that they perform many chamber music by which the enjoyment if music is enhanced with the closeness of the audience and the artists.
They are sisters, daughters of Sri Manohar and Smt Ulka Joshi. Granddaughters of the legendary vocalist and violinist Pt Gajananbua Joshi.

And thanks a lot for your kind gesture to remind me of the planned events-highly appreciated, although I may not avail of the opportunity. Nevertheless I will scan newspapers for any HCM concerts in Ernakulam and Kottayam districts, now that I have known HCM concerts are not uncommon in Kerala, while I am on a visit to India.
