This is insane. Scaling the fish must have taken forever. It looked so smooth to us. But you've gotta pick off a few pieces for every cm or so that the knife moves. And the first scaling of the knife across, imagine trying to pull all those single pieces out of the flat surface for the stop motion. Tedious! Amazing.
@@DeuceGenius not really, no - If you imagine yourself either removing or adding the little pieces of lego, adding them is much easier. I am not saying its super easy, but definately considerably easier wnough to do the whole section backwards.

As a fisherman from texas, the fish moving even when it is dead and frozen, is really accurate.over here in Texas I mostly go for red drum, black drum, and sand trout.

I remember doing Claymation in my middle school shop class, Yes it takes forever, a simple 30 second reel can take up to 8 hours or more, depending on how realistic you want the movements to look, and how many moving parts are included into the scene. So I can appreciate the work it took to do this. (I was required to make a minute long film in 15 mins using Gumby and Poky wireframe toys, we changed work stations every 15 minutes and did other things, making rockets, using flight simulator with full cockpit controls and such)

You notice how fish is one of the only animals people regularly butcher on their own at home? I just find it kind of interesting. I guess it's because it's small enough you're able to do that easily, and also because it tastes a lot worse when it's not fresh.
