I swear tiktok destroyed suicideboys fanbase soo much
Literally
it did.. not to be that guy but i’ve listened to them since 2015 and the fan base back then was chill af.
so many artists destroyed by tiktok
$$ is for White women
Suicideboys real fantasy is anti TikTok
Respect to semetary for giving 100% no matter what
real
People need to just be themselves and ignore tryna “not be corny” enjoy, pay attention to the artists’s art.
I've never had tiktok and never cared for it so what about tiktok is hurting these guys?
@@luiscollazo2269nothing, if anything it helped them move up. Old $B fans just miss feeling like they're part of a niche scene so they're butthurt that everyone is listening to $B now
Real asf people are clowning on em and they’re upcoming i just think its a lil unfair, but their mysuc was like earrape compared to ghostmane and ramirez
i think this speaks more to the disconnect between $B and their new fans. because i've been an $B fan since like 2014 and i feel like Sem would be a perfect fit for a guest at an $B show. the fact it didn't really work out tells me alot of those fans were more mainstream listeners. but yeah the autotune def fucked him
went to comment this 😂 took the words right outta my mouth , imma give his set a chance when i go to GreyDay
Why are people forced to get into this clown
Ehhhhh. Idk man I don’t really fw them , but everyone in NOLA tonight was straight doggin them and it felt bad tbh. I half agree tho but that’s just bc I genuinely just don’t like it but they do really fit so well in the line up. Also city morgue tn was mint . 9-1-23 ☑️
Went to Grey Day Jacksonville and I can agree they were pretty bad. They need to rework some stuff when it comes to live performances.
bro if the music is ass its ass dont hate ppl for not liking this shit.
Y’all need to understand he’s relatively unknown, he’s an OPENER, and he only has a 20 minute set. You can’t really be expecting people to turn up that much 😂
i always turn up for the openers smh
@@onoe6301that means you actually go to shows. a show is like a once a year thing if that for these people. this crowd doesnt have show etiquette. tiktok fans and kids who never went to shows cause of covid
Everyone in that audience was actively not moving. Terrible fans
I'm $B fan since sloth started producing the first beats, sematary was painful to listen to. The ass autotune, lyrics out of ass and amount of 'l33t' horn gave the biggest shiver cringe I ever had. Hard pass
@@eistrasza6985 so basically ur old
a lot of these newer $B fans don’t understand that $B was once preforming to crowds of less than 100 ppl, so they have no sympathy for the newer underground artists that they bringing on grey day
Nah that’s not it bro😂 I’ve been a suicide boy fan since 2016. I just think sematary fuckin sucks😂
@@benzo900absolutely wrong. Open your ears dumbass.
@@benzo900everyone hated on them. And look at the boys now

theres not a big overlap between sb and sematary fans and they messed him up with the auto tune
truest comment i’ve seen
I really want to know if that auto tune was his decision I really don’t want to believe it was …
ya man you nailed it $B is very big so why bring a smaller person why when the fans of one doesn't like the other wired imo to put them on the same tour
@@realnullus
Bro the auto-tune bad
You really think there’s absolutely no overlap? Sb and sematary are my favorite rappers
Can’t blame him. Suicideboys are lightyears ahead of Sematary. Most of the crowd that has floor tickets never heard of Sematary. I just got my floor tickets to see them in Tampa it cost me $250 total. I found out about Sematary a month ago when the tour was announced. The kid is talented has lots of potential to be as good as anyone in this tour. Every artist goes through dead crowds in their early careers, specially if you’re opening for such a big act like Suicideboys.
The only thing suicideboys are better at is popularity
His tapes Hundred Acre Wrist and RB3 are really great but honestly after those he kinda fell off artistically. still like'm tho
Bro Tampa got canceled until November. Let's link!! I'm going with my girl
Dawg I went last night I missed semetary but everyone was shitting on him even after the fact
@@somedi1253yooo at msg? i dipped before they started playing to go to the merch table lmao, the pit was crazy during city morgue tho i almost passed tf out
Sematary was lit in San Francisco when I was there in February it was the craziest energy of my life I love $B equally as HM but its the new fanbase of $B completely shattering on him. I blame new age tiktok fans who ruin the music and energy if your paying 120$ - 300$ are you going? That's my point
i was at that show too it was hella fun
Bro their parents are paying and TikTok has infected the youths to make them all think the world revolves around them
i was there that was one of the best shows i've been to in a while . the pit wascrazy and avtually organized iwas pleasantly surprised
I was going hard in the upper section lol. Newgen $B fans really don’t see the irony of hating on younger niche artists, while the boy$ literally made it from playing to 50 people into arenas. Fan bases are annoying when they gatekeep already niche scenes.
I know he is Sematary, but I still feel super bad for him and the mound
problem i have with him is he always has autotune and his music is very boring compared to the other performers music and performers
@@jigglyjacopierce7892he doesnt use that much auto tune they fucked up his set and his songs are not boring💀

They suck lmao
I was at this concert and NOBODY knew who semetary was and they sounded so bad that nobody was really vibing with it
they messed him up with that autotune
American crowds are dead from all the videos I’ve seen from metal to rap especially the new tiktok $B fans literally just standing still 💀
Half retarded comment
They hate when people mosh in the pit, Europe crowds look so much more better than US tours
Dead crowds at metal shows is unnerving. I went saw Gojira and everyone was just standing there
Standing still and recording
This is how it was in New Orleans to on 9/1/23. Dude sounds like he's just yelling in the mic and doesn't sound good. But everybody was hype for everybody else. Especially for Ghostmane and $uicideboy$
Literally everyone said “finally” when he stopped
Sb was in the same position that Sematary is in right now, 3 years ago before tiktok everybody hated on Sb
Also, maybe a lot of those people just dont know his stuff and are just taking it all in live? Idk man, me personally I love when big artists bring out smaller guys,. it exposes us to newer music.. if I was there id be still too, just watching and listening, not moshing..
Man when are people gonna stop blaming new tik tok fans? I’ve been a SB fan since 2017 and don’t even have tik tok. Tried listening to Sematary and he’s aight with a few okay bangers.
They was gaining traction before tiktok
That not true.
3 years ago is cap bro, maybe u hated them 3 years ago but I went to their concerts in like 2017 and that shit was lit af. Didnt listen to $B like that but still had hella fun
I was at the Houston show for his set. He wasn’t as bad as people made him sound like he was gonna be. The auto tune wasn’t a deal breaker. He did good for being relatively unknown. Gs sem. Keep it up.
I was there at the houston show. Crowd was dead as fuck
Yea but the crowd sucked in general most of em shouldve been in that assigned seat the real ones turn up as we do any show
Dude sucks
He went on tour with $B which has gone mainstream now so of course sematary wasn’t gonna appeal to the normies
fr xd
At Grey Day in St. Louis they came out super hype and with a lot of energy. I just couldnt vibe with the music just like everyone else. Mainly because the autotune was turned up so much. It was on even when he was just talking to the crowd. The arena was virtually sold out and maybe 30 people in general admission were vibing to the music. Ive been a fan of Ramirez, City Morgue, Ghostmane, and $B since the early 2010s. I just didnt feel like Semetary fit in with the line up.
Either way he is still getting exposure. Hell I discovered him thru the grey day tour and I loved his set! Admittedly when I was listening thru the setlist pre tour, his music was a bit difficult to get into at first but after seeing him live and listening to his stuff over and over I love him and the haunted mound 🕺🕺🕺
Yeah its a shame. I didn't even see him perform in Jacksonville FL but when i seen him on the tour line-up i was happy for him as its kind of a big deal for him and im not a fan in the least nor am i a hater by any means. Never heard of turn stile until they toured with $ui & they were amazing live, instantly became a fan and now they're super successful & all over the radio.
see lovekilss in jax fl , my bands from here
I went to the Grey day concert last night, unfortunately I got there kinda late and missed Sematary performing. Only got to see ghostemane and Suicideboys, but I promise you it was prob not that dead here for Sematary. Our crowd gets stupid lit no matter who is performing. It might be a crowd to crowd thing. Cause last year they were getting hyped to a lot of artists a lof of people even myself didn't know.
yeah I was at the Norfolk show too and sems set was crazy imo
Yeah the Norfolk show was so hype!!!Thinking about heading to DC on Tuesday to see them all kill it again.
I had tickets for this tour just to see Sem. I am not able to go so I sold the tickets. I am really glad I did now. Thanks for easing my mind.
Imagine hating on sematary but being an avid suicideboys fan in 2023 lmao
What’s wrong with being a $uicideboy$ fan in 2023?
Tf 😂😂 sem is wack af take you to his slaughter house lmfao 😂😂 kid is a fuckin joke his daddy is in the industry that’s how he got on Greyday because of his daddy
Both suck fat balls
Imagine people having their own opinion. Sematary mid at best
You sound stupid
ever since he dissed alabama, it has never been the same...
all the HM fans were afraid that touring with $B would make them "too mainstream". Meanwhile all the newer $B fans hate anything thats not the boy$. Both are extremely corny new-gen takes. But i mean this is a huge tour, and a huge opportunity, so i dont think anyone should feel bad about this. the boy$ had to do shows for next to 0 people for years before getting even a little popular. HM got popular fast af, and are now on one of the biggest underground rap tours of the year. So people wondering why nobody else who is preforming has come to HM's defense is dumb. Its just growing pains, and is expected with any newer artist taking on such a crazy large crowd.
i got to see them live recently. i respect the way they performed their best even if the crowd was mostly dead. personally tho, i dont really fuck with it atm. maybe ill get into them later.
im going to ny show just for grave man. cant wait he will go down as one of the greatest evr gotta go to every show possible. and in madison square garden.. historic.
zayguapkid shits on sematary and he like 7 years younger he can turn a crowd of 1000 into a riot
I've NEVER listened to their music, the 1st time I heard it was at a Grey Day concert in Detroit. I'll admit after a few songs I was kinda over it, but I enjoyed the energy on stage and it was fun to watch them jump around on stage and be into it, make people down in the pit get active and run around.
I'm excited to see the style progress and the fact they performed with "bigger underground" artists really helps expose them to more people and a different demographic.
good for him for getting an opening slot for a huge corporate rock band like green day, but that does not seem like the greatest fit musically. I can definitely see green day fans not feeling it.
btw, were you referring to green day as being
a "bigger underground" artist? because they've never really been underground. they were hugely popular in the 90s, and then in the 2000s, they truly sold out and went full mainstream.
semetery was trash 🚮

@@3-meo-2-oxo-pcewtf are you talking about bout😂😂😂 dude said grey day not Green Day
bro sematary is original i’m so happy he’s on this tour and i saw him on his haunted mound tour. i’m going to the greyday show in SF and i’m boutta turn the fuck up for HM AND SEMATARY
goat
I’ve been saying this shit for 2 years, Sematary wasn’t made to go mainstream, I like his music and shit but he doesn’t belong to the mainstream. He’s going to keep failing. Doesn’t matter if people like him or not. He’s not gonna get big lol
Idk, he's really hard to get into. I've been in the underground rap music scene since 2016, and I think out of everyone who has came out since then, he is definitely one of the hardest to get into when it comes to vocals. He's also extremely niche when it comes to the rest on the tour, so a lot of people probably don't even know or care about him. I've recently got more into Semetary recently, but this just doesn't seem like a surprise when it comes to this big of a tour. Definitely props to him for going hard with a crowd like this, and its what you should do when in an event like this, and im very happy he had this kind of opportunity, but this is kind of to be expected with every show on this tour. Long story short, I agree with you when it comes to most of these points that you've made. It reminds me of when 100 gecs started doing big shows. Not that they sound anything alike, but its similar in terms of different sounds. Im going in 2 weeks to this, but I'll make sure to cheer Semetary on even though I'm not really into his vocal style.
W mans 100 gecs live sounds cancerous but i think semetary def has potential
@@charlespate863L 100 gecs live is lit asf
His older stuff is better, a lot of the songs aren’t on Spotify
Its not even that the fanbase judged him before he walked on stage. Ive been to shows and enjoyed the set of music i didn’t like originally. The problem is that Sematary literally presents himself as a fcking meme so how can you blame people for laughing. Old $b sounds like a rap group trying to gain ground where as Sematary sounds like a joke someone put online. He comes off like froggy fresh
aint this exactly what they said about chief keef too? nobody took chief keef seriously and thought he was a joke rapper when he came out with finally rich & now its a considered a classic
Lmfao you’re a casual

@@bruhfunnygang he had a remix on that song with Kanye West for crying out loud, and a bunch of other superstars, there was a huge industry bidding war to sign him, he’s literally been a major label powerhouse since the day he dropped his first song. I was a conscious being at that time you were probably 4 years old and can’t even being to comprehend what was going on at that time
I went to greyday 2023 when it came to Sacramento, and honestly I tried to look up semetary before I went and I wasn't a fan of his through his videos but his live performance is way better than his recorded performances. Wouldn't say I'm a fan now but I have some respect for him
If you went to grey day like I did you would know that everyone is buying merch at the beginning. The merch line was so long that pretty much if you wanted merge, you wouldn’t be able to see anyone but ghost man and $uicideBoy$ that’s how it was a JOSHUA when nobody was there for semetary or even city morgue
g59 fanbase is corny as hell bruh
yea first greyday tour i didnt go to, i fw most of them just wasn't as hyped about the lineup as i have been in the past 🤷♂
I don’t think semetary have alot in common with suicide boys except maybe touching on the theme of death. Semetary has a very original and uniqe sound, and a blasted sound. That lofi blasted sound makes is hard for people to like and accept it. It sounds like something you would come over on soundcloud with 50 views and 10 likes. That blasted lofi production is somewhat comforting to me. Personally i like suicide boys, freddie dredd and ghostemane better, but again its a different vibe
This happened at the D.C. show last night too, not a single person was feeling them, it was kinda sad
in the pit at the jacksonville show n semetary was the second reason i wanted to go to greyday iwas turned tf up n some guy almost fought me for moshing lmao
Saw him bomb live in NoLa. Literally had people holding up stuff on their phones saying "Just go home"
whys there a dude recording sematary with a 3ds
The latest Grey Day tours have been ass when it comes to the energy from the crowds. Comparing shows even as late as 2019, to the shows in 2022/23 is a huge difference and it’s wack. I knew things have changed when Maxo Kream came on stage and no one knew any of his songs or was hype in any way.
The first two shows crowd was bad but jacksonville was lit way more people into his music and just more energy and fun. I was there for all the artists im a fan of them all so i had no bias going in but they def just need a better setlist
i’m happy to hear that i was wondering how the rest of the tour would go
I was at the Jax show too. I thought they were great! They were also one of the first bands to play, so the crowd was just not there yet. But Jax did him right. My son is a huge fan and bought a Sematary hoodie at the show.
Sematary is an extremely underground deep fried Chief Keef who didn't have enough time to polish his songs. If only he would embrace Rainbow Bridge 3's aesthetic more and stop playing these new saturated, autotune sounds. It's like that with any artist, they establish an image of trap blasted with black metal and the rest is history.
I went to the Houston show and it was a blast, I think everyone did great although with Semetary I do think he used a little bit too much auto tune which was a bummer but still props to homie for giving it his all I really hope he drops some more bangers soon🤟
I went to the Houston concert too. I remember checking the roster the day before and having no clue who seminary was. I was open at first then I couldn’t understand the majority of what they were saying due to the autotune. I believe that’s why he wasn’t as well received. With very few people enjoying the music in a concert of thousands it made it hard to vibe with music most have never heard before. I remember the last song they played was the one I could actually enjoy. The other artist had a pretty big following which is why other people could enjoy the music even if they’ve never heard their songs. The fans project the energy in the lyrics and sadly seminary doesn’t have that strong of a fan base to support their songs at the grey day tour.
I showed up to one of the shows to support the mound and he was so overhated. I swear the TikTok kids ruined the audience. They weren’t even dancing for their songs or even moshing or getting lit at all
Edit meant to say overhated. Also I heard a guy celebrating when sematary left the stage like the disrespect was real
so real people were holding up their phones playing games pretending to record it was so rude, not the vibe i was expecting from the crowd at all
just went to grey day today, sadly missed almost all of semetary’s songs (merch line was insane) but when he was performing this girl behind me shouted “NOBODY IS SINGING ALONG WITH YOU” like dude shut up

Very simple answer. Hes got a very niche audience. Most of those people are not there for grey day to see him.
TikTok ruined $B’s, apparently if you tell someone you listen to them they immediately think you’re some kind of emo loser. To each their own why the hate to anyone’s fans base 😒.
I went to one of the LA shows, despite the music being not the best imo, I gotta give him props for being able to go out there and give an actual show and stay hyped. ik a lot of other artists that would give up or underperform to negative feedback.
i’ve seen so many instances of mfs just yelling at the crowd instead of preforming glad he still put on a show even tho not many ppl got into it
the disrespect he got at the greyday tour was discusting really shows their fanbase just haters
They have more artistic merit than Suicideboys who still 10 years later rely on the same samples and flows, it was cool in 2015. So played out now Sem part of the new wave, these corny sb songs are already dated
very true
its crazy how haunted mound goes 1000 times harder than any other artists on the grey day tour yet the crowd doesnt know to rock with it because they some bandwagon ass people that need to be told whats cool

i listen to all the artist on this tour frequently besides ramirez and i wouldve been real hyped if i went since im not just a main stream fan that claims to listen to underground music but cant name a single underground artist.
Hi null good job on 600 subs
no hate, i couldn't understand all but ten words said by them live. the auto-tune gives a bad impression like they want the drain-gang crowd. it's also incredibly hard to hype everyone with most of the crowd there to see ghostmane and $uicideboy$ - ontop of the expectations set by ramirez opening before sematary! city morgue only added to that sort of tension, the crowd begged throughout to cut to the chase. either way, the show in OKC i went to was fantastic and i'm happy to say that was my first concert.
I went to greyday 23 in chicago and there was maybe only 20% of the venue showing much support for these guys. Imo their music just isnt it and the autotune was wayyy too much from what i was hearing
You couldn't make out a dang word he said, but he's not that bad.. he's definitely stuck in a era that i'm not in anymore.
I was at the NY show and nobody wanted him there bro. He kept trying to open the pit and nobody moved 😭😭😭
sematary fans got 25 dollars for a general access pit ticket. 200+ say goodbye
I didn’t buy tickets this year because I’ve already seen $B fours times and the lineup this year just wasn’t worth the price. Maybe it’s the venues fault for the price but 250+ for floor tickets is ridiculous when I paid 35-50 for all the previous years. I get city morgue has some hype but it’s pretty hard beating shakewell, pumex, maxo kreme, night lovell,Denzel curry, ski mask. Turnstile was unexpectedly really good as well so 2023 with the lineup and prices was hard to justify. Respect to sematary for still playing tho, maxo kreme got the same treatment and was all pissed because eveything wasn’t singing along and didn’t know him. I pulled up right when he was playing drizzy Draco and everyone was silent and I’m like bro what.
24 hours haven’t passed by since their chase center performance in SF, 10/13/23, I was there for his opening performance, I had never heard of him, I was open to listening to his music as I had never heard him, but I couldn’t come to terms with it. It just wasn’t for me. That’s all I’ll say.
I agree sematary is an acquired taste, I like a couple songs and I also like a lot of the music on this tour. But I don't think any of the hate he receives is deserved. Also the crowd being dead, some people have never listened to him and were just listening/hearing this music for the first time. I would also like to say the people that are laughing at him while performing are posers and only like $B because they think they are different.
Hopefully Arizona goes hard this year, we always manage to somehow despite the people who do nothing
I went to greyday last night in Milwaukee and I got absolutely ridiculed for wearing his merch
damn didn’t know ppl were doing all that (nice pfp)
Musically, the problem is the production on his beats. When boosted up to arena-level decibels they sound blown out. He's also an opener, which regular concert goers will turn their nose up at if they don't know or care for you. Also, the dude's stage presence is weak and copy and pasted from people who do it better.
i was at the first show and the crowd was so mid i still turned up by myself thiugh
I saw him live in australia (melbourne) and the crowd went crazy
He is emo kid laroi
Pretty sad people wont give sematary a chance, they kinda just follow what other people say and dont think for themselves.
Or maybe people just don't like him?? Pretty crazy huh 🫨
bro they are trash they had a semi good sound going with ghost mountain now its autotune trash and it sucks cause they have potential but they choose not too especially ghost mountain
hes just fuckin trash bro if most people dont like his music it is what it is
I saw $B inside of a literal barn, no stage, back in 2016. OG fan baby
I was at the Detroit show and I’m gonna be real they probably don’t like him because the amount of auto tune he used at the concert was unbearable
Shit was BAD tonight in NOLA but I really think the crowd dogging them made it worse . I can see the appeal but they still aren’t for me I don’t think. That being said I’ve only heard of them like 6 weeks ago
I found him from Greydays promo video Ramirez posted on IG and while I still need to look more into his tracks i say he’s got some bangers man people not rly givin it a chance are wack asf man
I went to greyday in Sacramento, sematary's music is niche in a 100 gecs sorta way. His performance was hype no matter what, people hate just because they're mad hes living a dream, and most of us are working a 9 to 5.
Mostly fault for the newgen $b fans. I know $B is repping's sematarys way of doing horrorcore/cloudrap, kinda like how back in 2015 $uicideboy$ were outlandish with tapes like My Liver Will Handle What My Heart Can't. I'm sure older fans will at the very least be more open minded about Sematary's experimental sound.
Bruh once you said you haven’t heard a single $uicideBoy$ song that’s when I stopped watching the video
saw him last night in MKE. He got energy but his music is definitely an acquired taste, I understand why people look the other way
i mean it makes sense somewhat but ppl are still mean to him
learned about him 20 mins prior to the show and I was still fucking with him and most the artists while most people were sitting down. Some artists like ghostemane and city morgue also were very new to me but I was still getting hype I feel like once you sit down bc you dont know an artist it just kills the vibe even more imo
How is ghostemane and city morgue new to you? Wtf? You gotta get educated man that’s very up river stuff, do I need to tell you who Taylor Swift is?
@@stevesharpe3370 how about you smd I already knew who they were but I never listened to their music dickhead

yeah i get that
Saw I just got back from the grey day tour. The October 25th one. My take is that everyone is doing it cause it’s trendy. People saw it get hella views on TikTok and other people want that. When I went I didn’t know who he was at all. I was going for everyone else but him. I knew every artist on this tour. I am a huge fan of everyone on that tour. When Sematary got on I did enjoy it. Even if I didn’t I would still participate cause that’s what you’re supposed to do at concerts. The pit was so dead! It really piss me off cause he isn’t as bad as people make him out to be! Another thing though that’s just base off what I saw. I feel like a lot of the people down there didn’t know what the pit was really for and most of them were “suicideboys” wannabes. They weren’t moshing for anybody (which is crazy with the line up we got) even when the boys got on NO BODY moshed! Only a few songs! The artist had to constantly keep telling them too participate! Now I’m for the boys getting more exposure, I want them to get bigger. I just dislike people that only listen to them to be trendy.
It was the same in Nashville, I was up front on the ground floor and everybody was laughing in his face
They screwed him up with autotune
Joey>Semetary
Hell nah
never heard of him but i just listened to a few songs and he’s not that bad. He definitely has some bangers
What’s the instrumental (or sem song) in the background in the very beginning please!
arson
someone’s in their 3ds in that concert 😭
It was my first time listening to him when I was at the DC show of the grey Day Tour he did pretty good in my honest opinion
Everyone was laughing at him in DC… Especially when he started talking with auto tune on, and it was just horrendous. Not sure how you can enjoy his set when you can’t even understand what he’s saying
tiktok set a cringe trend to not fw sematary and the crowd are jus mainstream mfs
the way i see it is even if you dont fw sem you alr paid for a ticket nd you might as well enjoy yourself. nd also when i saw sem live i brought one of my friends who has never heard of sem and he still got hype n went crazy.
i know he was probably pissed nobody in the crowd cared though its such a strange overlap of fans, its still fucking crazy to me that theyre touring with $B
sb makes music for absolute cornballs who use Rick and Morty ashtrays it’s literally the definition of coworker music
Who tha fuck is semetary
To be honest, I feel like the problem was in Houston, because after watching live New Orleans. Fuck this is a whole other level.
bro i went from ohio to new york best show of my life

People stayed in the merch lines for half the set LOL it was so dead esp for sem
