Does that mean every musical piece needs to be transposed to D major/minor to play with this Guitar? Or at least more convenient if doing so? Just curious. @@philfromnc
@@wanyuhuang8802 I use two tunings, open G and open D (which are very similar once you get used to them) and between that and the use of capos, I can play in any key. Its sort of like cross tuning with fiddles or the many open tunings on vernacular instruments like banjos and such- there are compromises, but there are things you can do which you can't do on "normal" tuning. In practice, and in history, many players could do both.
