Coming from a family with a lot of gender expectations I’ve never really used makeup. I never really saw why I couldn’t but I never felt comfortable enough. Now that I’m an adult now tho I’m trying it out and this video is really helpful so thanks 👍
Go for it :) People will always judge anyways... so just be yourself. No use wasting your life not trying things or not being yourself because of people.
I guarantee if you go into a makeup store you won’t even be the first man *that day* that they have helped. Hell, they probably have men working there. It’s not a big deal anymore. It’s just a little face paint. It’s never made anybody’s weewee fly off or something 😂
I'm a woman but I dress and look pretty masculine besides my hair and never got into makeup. I just preferred the natural look but honestly, my big and visible sebaceous glands on my nose and forehead have been making me insecure lately and so have the random pimples that keep popping up. I just want clearer skin but no extras so this tutorial is just perfect for that! Saved!
Thank you for making this video. While I admit I could use some makeup to cover some acne scarring, I mostly looked this up for a cosplay I wanted to do. This has already been tremendously helpful!

I've always wanted to wear makeup I have an autoimmune illness and when it gets really bad my skin and eyes go really yellow or grey but have always been insecure about people judging me for wearing it, its cool how you can still make it look natural like this.
This is very important to me as a trans guy bc even before I came out and tried to blend in i always was so bad at make up and never wore any and mostly hid under my glasses so my dark circles wouldn‘t be so visible. Now on the other hand I found that I just look more masc without the glasses but I don‘t wanna look beat either. This is a good way to use make up for me without having to feel dysphoric about it. Thanks for the tutorial :3
no need to feel dysphoric bro.i like to wear makeup because it simply makes me feel refreshed.from a trans man to a trans man, makeup is to enhance features cover imperfections and helps you look good in your own skin.being unapologetically you.:3 seriously we need to strip back all the layers of who society taught us men to be.
What products do you recommend now that Altr London is no longer available. I've been using there blemish balm for years and struggling to find a replacement, your skin always looks flawless
If you have a really great skincare routine and your skins pretty clear would you need concealer, bb cream, tinted moisturizer and ect? Wouldn’t it be more natural for me to just need tinted moisturizer and concealer?
Quick question - I use skinfix barrier triple liptid peptide moisturizer, and it is super crucial for my skin as I get really dry red and flaky otherwise. Should I just use that as a base and do the rest of these, including that tinted moisturizer? or should I only do one or the other moisturizer?
I’d say mix a bit of both in on the back of your hand and apply evenly to face slowly. But there’s not right or wrong answer only what’s best for you and your skin type.
Always remember Nivea cream after shaving. And keeps acne down as well. It’s in a dark blue container that twist off. And in white writing Sells in Walmart and target 🎯 and Safeway amazon And Walgreens
Your links dont work 😢 it's the first time I've tried them, so maybe they did but don't anymore. Do you have any links to alternative products please? Btw, awesome informative. 🙏🏼
I always go more natural look with lose powder or translucent and blush and to finish the fresh look I spray rose water to set the powder, just 3 products that's all.
OMG, I actually liked his before photo at 12:05. If I saw 2 guys as "before" and "after", I am going for "before" any day. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Hey, awesome vid! I'm a beginner and it helped me out a ton :) Here's a little question. I have a friend who will occasionally pinch my cheek. Will the makeup come off or stick to their fingers? Thank you so much!
It’s giving very much: “Here are the steps I take to achieving a very nice and natural makeup look. Step 1: be stunningly beautiful already Step 2: chapstick And that’s how I achieve this look. Good luck fuglies” Lmao jk jk. But seriously I’ve had to stop and rewatch 4 times now because every time he looks at the camera I get all flustered and start blushing lol 🥰😍
I’m sorry what is the first product from Elizabeth far.. something please🙏🏼. I can’t quite make out the name and the links in the description don’t work for my device. Thank you❤️
My opinion about BeautyBlender is the tool for make which removes a a lot the product. My advice is using the pencil to spread the líquid product and than the BeautyBlender to final touched.
Hi Carl loved the video I was just wondering what is the brand name on the moisturiser and the name as I'm interested in getting to use myself again great video and thank you for inspiring me to waer makeup say safe
I wish I could wear makeup but as a guy I would worry it looks like make up, plus I have such sensitive red skin and I literally sweat from head to toe, so I guess the make up would stay put and I also have to use tissue constantly to dab or wipe my sweat off of my face 😢 Carl do you have any ideas, If there was make up that wouldn’t be affected by all of that ? I have been watching and following you for years so I would trust your advice 👍❤️ I would love a powder product I could just brush on, that stays put and can only come off with a cleanser 🤞🤞❌❌
Powder does not do well with oily skin. Why don t you try makeup forever water tone. Boy de Chanel is another option. 1 x pump is enough. Less is more😉
I’m sorry about your cheek rosacea. I have exactly the same problem. Every moisturiser makes it worse, speaking in public makes it worse, workouts makes it worse. And it burns. The most upsetting part is when people say “you look tired”, “have you been drinking?” “are you sick?” It even more upsetting when they say that on a good skin day! Good for you, just cover it up if that makes you feel better.
I wouldn't consider this a beginner's guide maybe starting with how you first pick a shade for the various products. I lost track of how many products you used in this "beginner's" guide.

If you have a friend who is obsessed with makeup then you must say this to him/her.
Go 4 it you weren't put on this world to make other people happy. Besides nowadays nobody will bat an eye lid about a guy wearing make up it's 2023
